"We want everyone to use engineers", they cry. But they don't tell you, "Oh, and you'll still have to waste your life away transporting ridiculous commodities and materials half way across the galaxy in order to get these nutcases just to talk to you, let alone engineer your ship."
Seriously though, the new RNGineers is supposed to be better and 'always moving forward', yet FD have done nothing about the interminable periods of time it take to unlock access to the higher grades. So much for Sandro's statement, "We value your time."
Many people could live with the flawed RNG but felt that wasting weeks trying to unlock the likes of Palin just wasn't worth it. That problem is still there...so what is the point of these changes?
If you want the higher upgrades, things are just as bad as before...especially for those much sought-after 'casual' players that FD say are so important.
