And it was going very well got the target's hull to 44% and then he jumped.. so I scan the wake and it's into a permit system I don't have yet...

Why would a known wanted criminal have a high rank permit in federation space???

Perhaps he got the permit before he became a criminal.

Anyway, you'll find that jumping out and back to the 'last seen' system and Supercruise around will spawn him/her again and you can try again.. Which is a tad disappointing tbh.

Sometimes they pop back if you just check more USS in the same system.

Happened to me today.

Also, it seems a lot more vicious than most Elite Anacondas from these missions. Have they been tweaked?
