So No Moon Landing?

I always figured the moon would feature several bases and/or museum given this is 3300's. So Neil's landing spot would likely be encased in some sort of structure, not just a 'park' for some goober to drive their SRV through and wreck.

All that to say, not being able to land on the moon is definitely a bummer - even if all it had was a standard planetary base on it and a tourist beacon or three (on ground) for important history.

I'm also a fan of 'do it now, with what we have, go back later and add as we can' rather than wait for the 'perfect hand-made experience'. Mostly because the latter never comes.
