Sheitoscramblers... yeah, no. Its like taking a leak during an earth quake, these things are all over the place. Besides, after the shield is down, then what?

Yeah, I bet they do. You have to hit everything from 300 meters away, so you might as well install frags if you're there anyway. No, I rather pierce with things that I can aim, from 6 km away. But each his own :)

Besides, its my mission runner. You can snipe generator from 6 clicks away. Its not really a combat vessel, just a great swiss army knife.
The external thrusters are prolly as weak as the ones on the chieftain. Take one out and you're dead in the water.

I was able to deploy a Scorpion from my T8 last night, without any more issue than colliding with the ship through carelessness in a particularly tight turn...
Dunno about the Scarab though.

2x small Advanced Dumbfire missile (with penetrator payload experimental)
1x medium Dumbfire with FSD reset experimental or the dedicated FSD disruptor (PowerPlay missile)

It could be a fun ship for trolling NPC or other players alike - depending on how agile it is

In case you're wondering on scramblers they usually put in an effect - range and phase.
 
I just did the Hutton run in about 33 minutes with an almost entirely fuel laden T8. I used a grade 5 LE/thermal power plant. You can actually cruise indefinitely with no heat sinks at the low throttle SCO speed. The heat maxes at 65% and stays there. It overheats at full SCO throttle, but if you zero the throttle at heat levels up to 94% the heat will rise just a bit more, level off, and then slowly descend back to 65%.

This means that it’s possible to do the Hutton run at low SCO throttle with no heat sinks whatsoever, or to do it at a hybrid speed with no heat sinks if you accelerate and then back off before you hit 100%.

I had a 4A shield in place, but all other optional slots had fuel. I used approximately 2/3rds of it in the trip.
I had no idea you could change the SCO speed, thought it was off or flat out like a badger on a bypass.
