I've taken another pass at the data with a few updates, and have removed these. We're all working from the same source (Qohen Leth's excellent spreadsheet) so any changes there will reflect in the data available elsewhere.

It beggars belief that FD would implement a system that requires significant inventory management within a game that has no inventory management.

FYI: You need to remove Tellerium from your list in the OP. It is used for G5 Overcharged Power Plant.

Good work keeping it updated.

The opening post NEEDS to be EDITED to REMOVE "Classified Scanned Databanks" from the list of "NO use" data!

Ram Tah needs 50 of those to unlock him!

Would hate to see someone new to the game use this thread to determine what to get rid of, only to discover that the 38 CSD they just trashed would have made a big dent in unlocking Ram Tah! ;)

Same goes for Aberrant Shield Pattern Analysis, The Sarge wants 50 to unlock him.

Managing inventory gets quite complicated after a while, especially when trying to unlock or increase rep with engineers. Once you have the highest level access to most of the engineers you can dump many low or mid-grade materials and typically keep the high-grade ones.

Oo eck... just realised i have been chucking away stuff that might be needed with the latest batch of engineers. Life gets complicated!
