The two planets – which may both be bigger than earth – could be orbiting in the furthest reaches of the solar system out past Pluto, which was demoted from the status of planet to a dwarf planet in 2006.
The discovery of possible new additions to our existing eight planets, if confirmed, has been described by one of the scientists involved as “truly revolutionary for astronomy”.
Seems like a lot of speculations and little confirmation.

I remember learning about this in astronomy, and this was done back in 1781. I think with the advances we made, since then, it is possible.

Most science is really. We're constantly being told that what the scientists presented to us as fact in many areas of science 20 years ago is actually wrong and the new theory "disproves" it. Quantum theory is almost entirely guesswork as far as I can see.
While it isn't as solid as classical mechanics, the theories are verified with experimental results.
If this is true, it would be something very exciting. However, "revolutionary for astronomy" isn't what I would call it. An accurate mathematical model of space-time deviation however
