Poor connections are a fact of life for people that don't live in large first world cities. The OP can go do what the rest of us do: Learn to live with it.
LOL! All I am hoping for is that the PvP crowd has enough folks to support itself....over there! Because when the stink hits the fan...and people realize that the other side will be purely PvP in the Pea You....the outcry will be amazing to listen to...all the way over here!
I've always found the way that Elite handles FTL communications and sensors to be quite interesting. Somehow NPCs know instantly if you have cargo as soon as you buy it, bounties update instantly when you attack another ship, etc., and yet you have to visit a station in person to collect your own bounties or pay fines. Not to mention that the Engineers were able to send me their introduction messages while I was over 10k ly away from the bubble on my return trip from SagA.
This is your view but you should be matched with other Brasil. I in Europe with good internet who paid same as you for elite shouldn't get punished because you have bad connection. See it works both ways.
If elite is as popular as many here claims it is there should be no problems to fill my instances in popular places/systems with 31 other people from Europe that have good internet. Don't make my gaming experience suck because someone else can't get, don't want to pay or can't pay for better connection, it shouldn't be my problem. In games which allow players to host own servers people set up max ping commands for server to kick out people with bad/slow connection, because they want to have people with good connection to play with as everyone hate lag and one player with bad connection will ruin everyone else experience.
