Please don't misundertand me as I pull apart my issues with this game, I love it dearly and love the attention to detail that Frontier have put into the game over the past few years, but for me personally my enthusiasm and excitement for the game have decreased more and more over the past 5/6 months.
With the new Worlds Fair pack being announced, I was excited because we had finally got a glimpse of some asian themeing in game, but it wasn't until after my purchase that the disappointment came. I was surprised to find only 3 scenery items themed around Japan (The Haya Sushi sign, Sushi Sign 1 and Sushi Sign 2) and then came further disappointment when I went into the building tab and found 16 pieces themed around Japan. It wasn't until I tried replicating a building that I noticed the only curved roof pieces we had were the "Qin dynasty roof cap" corners, there were no 4x4 curved roofs which I thought odd considering the base game has these lovely metal curved roofs "Steel Roof Low Curved" and after some frustration, for the first time ever I thought about getting a refund. Below is a list of things I think could improve the game, as well as suggestions on some of these DLC's, I wanted to share.
Lifthills/Splashdowns/Inclines
An issue I had noticed when we first saw the log flume was that it looked odd due to the fact that we couldn't adjust the angle the drop would be at (also not being able to make a good transition if we wanted a leap/hop on the hill) and then when the Boomerang coasters were revealed, I noticed the same issue. Some of the coaster's transitions are very sharp and abrupt, especially the boomerang, if I zoom out enough it just looks like a sharp left angle, on a lot of the coasters it seems to be an issue.
My suggestion is making the pieces in the below image scalable, I know it might not help with things like the log flume, but at least for things like the cascade if people are making big hills, it'll look a little more realistic, we can scale loops so why not these pieces?

Small straight pieces of track
I'm unsure if this has been brought up before (I'm sure it has) but its something that has been bothering me for a long while, both boomerangs have the magnets/cables which is why I guess they have these straight parts and as soon as somebody wants to make something tall in game, the transitions look very unsmooth (which is why I mention scaling above) The Powerup I do not understand either, I think out of all coasters its the one I've touched literally once.

Coaster smoothing
This has been a thing for a long while now, and each time somebody brings up how unsmooth coasters are in Planet Coaster or how they want to make a heartline roll smooth, I bring up the camera's because I think honestly its more of a camera issue (check video below) The camera's turn before the coaster cars do, much like in RCT3, but RCT3 is a much worse version of this camera, the thing is... coaster's can be perfectly smooth when people use the 4 Meter Technique (for those uninformed, you build using a 4m piece of track, select a certain amount of pieces, click smooth all, drag the selected area along by one, click smooth all again, and so on) so I have a suggestion for both of these.
My first suggestion is fixing coaster cams so they're similar to The Cascade, Wooden Wild Mouse, and the Spinning Coaster.
My second suggestion is, seeing as we're doing something that is basically dragging the smooth tool through the track with the 4m technique, why not add a button that says "hold smooth" which when you click on it, you can click and drag through the area's you want smooth (like a custom heartline roll) that way its less time consuming.
Also requesting the log flume cam be sorted, its weird that the camera looks downwards on the top of each lift hill (again, camera going over the top and down before the boat does) I think the wing coasters also look down towards dummies knee's if you have a heartline at the top of a lift hill
The first video belows shows a comparison of the riders cam on the left, and the first "interest" cam reversed on the right ((also shown in the second vid which I use)) sorry about the watermark
the second video shows the 4 coasters that don't have a wobbly cam, I will also mention the wooden wild mouse doesn't have a banking offset when building so its a bit janky compared to the other hearline rolls.

Other things that need doing:
Brakes On The Hoax (or at least a downwards chainlift, someone mentioned this)
Half Walls (Seriously, they've been asked for since Alpha)
Droptower height adjustment (seriously, the screaminator looks weird with how tall it is)
The giant swing ride height adjustment (look above)
TheMunsters/BackToTheFuture/KnightRider:
These were £2.99 each, and come to a total of what would cost more than the average DLC, I understand the price and lack of items because they're licensed, but I never really use these pieces in game. I bought them because at the time, I wanted to support Frontier.
The Spooky Pack:
Personally I think this should have been part of the base game, because the base game should always come with essentials like horror, then you have the 2 ghost trains as part of the pack, which of course look beautiful in game but I can't help but think spooky should have been part of the base game. I like the pieces, there's a good set of things, I don't feel as if there is anything that would be considered horror/spooky "missing" a new spooky scenario would have been good~ I noticed also no shop blueprints or scenery blueprints, usually when people download these packs the first thing they want to do is see what sort of buildings Frontier have made with them, also where was the ghost train from the trailer? that seems to be another issue, each time these packs are put out we see these lovely trailers but no blueprints of the things we see in them :/
The Adventure Pack:
I didn't particularly think Adventure as being "base game" material, and when we first got a glimpse, it looked really cool and Frontier gave us Egyptian themeing with the mummies and pyramid pieces, but what I didn't understand is why not go the full mile and give us Egyptian god pieces like an Anubis Head, Sobek, Ra (dog, crocodile, bird)
The thing that bothered me the most about this pack is that there were no new roof pieces, so when trying to make a nice sandstone looking building, I found myself struggling to make anything that looked nice, though we had these lovely walls and no new roofs to go with it. The new coaster fits to the theme, I think people should pay for this one, and unlike Spooky, Frontier gave us blueprints for scenery and buildings/shops. If these packs are to get update at all over the years, please consider some egyptian gods and/or roof pieces.
The Studios Pack:
This is where development on these DLC's became a little bit banana's for me, again we get some new rides based around studios which I don't have a problem with, but the horror heights I personally think should be in the base game because its not really dedicated to studios apart from being in a "studios" type theme park in real life. What confuses me with this pack as it felt like left-overs from previous themed stuff in game, I thought why are these sharks not part of the pirate theme? why aren't the archeologists part of adventure? then we have fairytale knights, cowboys, pirates, etc, I do however like the zombies, I guess some could argue they should have been part of spooky? I think with us being able to create something similar to shows with this pack, again if they're ever updated in future, why not a studio live audience type ride? that would have been cool, or one of those 3D cinema's that previous games had, some kind of "show" ride.
The Vintage Pack:
I think this pack is very well thought out, I have no issues with it, of course nobody asked for a pack like this (well, people did ask for fairs and stuff) but a fair pack should have had more rides or so, I think personally with this, the wooden coaster is fine to be in the pack, the wooden bobsled too, but I think Frontier should have pushed out a metal bobsled coaster in their free update. All the flat rides are good and fit in nicely, I don't take any issue with this pack, its good, though I will say a clown king coaster mascot would have been good seeing as Frontier put him everywhere in the pack
(I love the attention to detail on the trapeze artists with the slap when they catch each other) actually, If this is updated in future, some Circus tent pieces / circus flat ride, the trapeze artists just made me think of that~
The Worlds Fair Pack:
As I said, I was waiting so long for some asian themeing and there are no 4x4 curved asian roofs, I was so happy whilst watching one of my fav youtubers last night becuase he said in his video the exact same thing I posted in The Worlds Fair thread, that the pack is themed around the shops, and its true... its like somebody at Frontier said "sushi shop" and then somebody else said "Ok, some japanese walls to go with it"
I think with the thememakers tool-kit being announced and this feeling like its going to be the last scenery based pack, people were expecting it to be big, but to find only 3 japanese scenery items (haya sushi sign, sushi sign 1 and sushi sign 2) Its not enough... I've not even looked at the other stuff. Chinese gets quite a few things...
If this is to be updated in future, push out a bit more content, add some London buses, some big Clock Tower pieces to make big ben, add some Oni statues, Cherry Blossom, and 4x4 curved roof pieces, I don't want to feel I have to get a refund for something that I've just bought for what is probably one of my favourite games.
The music is beautiful, the pieces look beautiful, it worries me how much content/how much faster others are going to put out once the Theme Makers tool kit is release, somebody will probably make an asian set but... I want to use whats made by Frontier in the game I love :/
Edit 28/12/2018
I remember messaging QAMark about this in Feb 2017, and looked a while ago to see if this had been updated yet, I worry for guests that may ever stretch their legs out (as they would in real life) because... well, goodbye legs.
I was streaming to a friend through discord earlier, he said to me "this isn't your favourite game anymore is it?" and I responded with no. It use to be but iunno, I thought Planet Coaster use to be a quality over quantity thing, but now it seems we can't even have restraints lift up on the new freefall towers, I don't like comparing Frontier to Atari but, do Frontier really listen? there's suggestions above, nobody's bothered commenting, no one cares, even I don't care anymore :/
I'll continue to update this.
