Somone please fix this broken mission system!

Why don't they just get rid of the rank up missions? What's the point? It's the same as any mission. It's not some special challenging mission. All this does is is confuse and delay your rank up when you have to search around for that special mission.

It would be great if it was actually some kind of special challenging mission but it's not. It's pointless. Get rid of it.

Only engineer mission I've seen is Ram Tah's mission to scan the alien ruins. Abandoned that one straight away. 100 million isn't enough to spend a week in the SUV.

If only it were a SUV even of the smoothness of 2017! Its more of an advanced Flintstone mobile P

As it is, not even 100 seconds is worth 100 million -million ;)

Mate just fly to various systems that have Fed factions - you will find a mission to rank up eventually. You will need to be cordial at least but if you find a station with a Naval rank mission the just get cordial with that faction by doing a couple of missions.

There was/is a bug where being too friendly with the factions limits the chances of a progression mission - seems it's still happening.

I would be glad to see 2.4 as a "Maintenance Release" with no new features. None at all just QoL enhancements and serious bug fixes, etc. .

That's what I thought too.

But then, at least with new additions the FD coder guys/n gals below with their Flintstonian tools will only glance off of what may be still playable.

Get them squarely focused on QoL (LOL) and zoned in on ...cough, what is pseudo working...will bring mega wreckage like ED has yet to see!

They have words Naval in title, but the rest sounds just like other type of missions.

For some strange reason FD think this is better than good old "naval progression opportunity", straight and clear.

Ohhh god (groans loudly) think ive seen a few of these but havent done one in over a year, so i was looking for the "naval progression" without delving deeper and looking at the details. Why do F.D insist on changing things for the worse.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly why FD seek to obfuscate everything, the game engine will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened...

Pray tell which systems offer these missions of which you speak been stuck at duke +100% for over a week and still no mission.

Look for the word Imperial in the mission title (or Federal for fed rank). Thinking back to the last one I did a few days ago, I don't think they include navy in the title any more.

Edit: I stand corrected, the word naval is in this one:

What Engineer missions? The missions that send you over to a new Engineer? Why would you hold onto them in the first place?
