Took Ben's advise & winged up with another CMDR to spread the gold profit to another (the trade dividen % does not take away from the original CMDR's profit...so free cr :) you just have to go to the starport's services menue -> contacts -> trade dividend ..to collect) I turned in 248t of gold for a profit of 378,944 cr & the other CMDR got 19,000 cr.
Also, took a few screen shots of Sothis commodities, collect traded dividend, Sothis top 5 bounties, Sothis traffic report & Sothis SG stats:

Bck at Sothis, seen no problems or pirates, latest stuff here.
Edit: just had a warning about a colourful pirate in an asp in the area.

Getting a lot busier - also Gold production is up at Robigo - I'm hauling approx 15 tons out of there every 15 mins now

I'm at 252T and that has me in top 60% which isn't bad considering it's pretty much all sourced locally first in the Vulture and now in my Cobra.
In shades of the Stig in Top gear I've been doing the round trip from Sothis/Robigo while listening to the best of Matt Munro and Nat King Cole - even in combat - it's extremely relaxing :)

I finally jumped in yesterday after a session of PP. The hardest part, IMHO, was finding enough gold to fill my 192t of cargo. Based on eddb, I went to 3 different systems, all roughly around 300Ly from Sothis, only to find less than the 192t. I finally found enough to finish filling my cargo at the 3rd one. Headed to Sothis, twice, for 390t of gold which makes me in the top 60. Then, 48 jumps (or a bit over 600Ly) to come back to Cubeo because I'm actively participating in PP. It's really the gold that is hard to find.

Woot! was just doing my usual thing, exploring stars back and forth between Sothis and the Bubble. Found a mostly undiscovered system: COL 285 Sector NO-O B7-2, galactic co-ordinates -202, -1, -203. Someone had flagged the four stars in the system, and one of the tiny ice worlds, and that's it - they'd completely missed the bucketload of small HMCs close in around three of the four stars. I just scored 16,000 credits in First Discovery bonuses. These are my first flags!

Anyone wishing to pin their names to a few planets, there's still five small remote ice worlds there with no name on them. I don't need to go back to that system.

Given the amount of traffic the Sothis route has seen, especially in the past week, I'm surprised it stayed unfound for this long.

I'm still using Morrina. It's 60ly further but the price is ok at just over 9000. However it avoids the badlands altogether making for an easy trip.

I'll probably be making my final trip later tonight which will put me at around 3800 total. Hopefully that will be enough to remain in the top 5%. I'll be doing a thank you post on Tuesday, as I am working away tomorrow.
