I've seen pictures of the alien flower ships, and been keeping up with the formidine rift mysteries. and it got me thinking that the old women mentioned seeing loads of octagonal ships blotting out the sun, but the Alien ships are more organic and a completely different shape. so after a few days thinking and posting stuff in PS4 forum, i have come to the conclusion that the organic flower ships are not thargoid but possibly the guardians and that the thargoids could be quarantined to a few permit locked star systems within the formadine rift with no means to travel through witchspace due to the virus that nearly wiped them out and destroyed there FLT technology.
