Split screen in Beta 3 crashing?

Is enabling <StereoExtraDisplay> in AppConfig.xml now crashing for anyone else in Beta 3? It was working today in Beta 2. Crashes my game everytime now when loading in. Get brief display of cockpit then CTD.

My beta 3 broke my AMD display driver the Rift just flashes with the screen background.....!!!!! ah well another weekend not testing.....
<edit>Lots of threads in the GF about this problem so its not just VR.
They are hoping to have a fix later this evening (effect AMD users)

yes. as soon as i get into the cockpit after the loading screen its immediate freeze and crash. Ran fine yesterday and runs fine today if 2nd window is not running.

Sadly will mean a lot of VR users will not be able to record...
