Boring.
Features and functions please. Until then no amount of scenery will spark my interest.

We are now 10 months post release and although Frontier will have inevitability scaled back the number of developers working on this game post 1.0, every month that goes by is still costing them hundreds of thousands of GBP to keep producing content. If you want to see continual free updates then something has to offset those costs now that the main thrust of people purchasing the base game has slowed substantially.
Fact != excuse.
No worries you wont be having the pack then ahahahahah I WILL worth every penny
I'm so excited that we're getting spooky stuff. Dark sinister theming is probably my favourite style and it's so my thing. It looks like my old RCT3 park that has gone through about 4 versions since about 2004 will finally make it to Planet Coaster and will hopefully finally be as I always visualized it.
As far as the nature of the pack, I can't believe people are complaining again. It looks like it will have enough content for it not to be a micro-transaction, and thank god as that business model is just vile. If that was the way PC was going, it would be the quickest way to lose my support. Just from the list that's included in this pack, anyone can logically see, the immense amount of work involved. Are the devs expected to work for free? (And they're so dedicated that I know that they do sometimes, when they have an idea and they stay back late). But for me, it looks like it's going to be good value for money. As for people saying it should be in the base-game, basing it on previous games, I don't see how. As far as I remember, only RCT3 had it in it's base game.
And also, as I've said before, I've been playing since the launch of Alpha so have racked up close to 2500 hours in game. I'm still nowhere near bored as I don't have enough time to get my ideas into the game. There's so much to keep me playing. Now divide the amount of money I've spent on this game by the amount of hours I've played, then it's stupidly cheap. Cheaper than other games with a monthly subscription, for example.
So while we're getting bigger packs, and hopefully big, beefy expansion packs in the future, I'm more than happy to spend more money, so future extra stuff can be developed.

And A FULLY FREE NEW COASTER IN THE GAME!
and they are definitely better than puplishers like EA or ATARI.
Blind fanboy, only that can be said about someone judging something he hasn´t seen. We cannot judge the content or the DLC in general, we can only judge the form of the DLC at this point. RCTW used to have these blind fanboys too, nowadays there are none, as they slowly and surely realized that those people complaining were actually right all that time.Same will happen with DLCs for Planet Coaster. There will be too many of them and Workshop will fall appart and become hardly usefull. Fact!=excuseWhat I find even more worring is the fact they added ride to this paid DLC, which is actually even worse for the workshop fragmentation.Fact also is there are other form of paid DLCs and premium content that could work very well and without spliting the workshop.I do want to support devs, but as long as they take less agressive way of their DLC policy. How do you know?
I feel totally the same way[wink].I think that any kind of big expansion(paid or not) is good for PC[yesnod].And this one seems pretty solid.New theme, new animatronics,scenery,2 tracked rides(one of them being omnimover or mystic mover or both are in,not clear yet[where is it]from the descriptions). And A FULLY FREE NEW COASTER IN THE GAME!So how can people complain about something like this![downcast].
Devs have to be paid and we already got 3 free updates. There's going to be an anniversary update later this year in november. So why are people mad?I think frontier is doing a really good job with this game and they are definitely better than puplishers like EA or ATARI. #infrontierwetrust[heart][heart][heart][heart][heart]lot's of love to the team for this great new ideas
Oh the horror! The splitting of the workshop!!!
Expansion packs like RCT3 would split the workshop as well. So?
The only people that the workshop would be split for, is those not buying the DLC's.
Too bad. So sad!
How dare Frontier try to make money! [weird]
Can't say better, always the same persons who are complaining every days...
Always the same people come tell us how we aren't allowed to give criticism...
send a mail to frontier and explain your problems
Always the same people come tell us how we aren't allowed to give criticism...
in the year 2017 we have this thing called the internet where companies can be contacted instantly on their support forums, maybe you heard of that??
