On a random side note, will there be more options to change out Planet Coaster avatars? I would like to customize my character more, and it seems other park guests have more mix and match options.

For those people wh are wondering how big the DLC is. This was posted on their facebook page about an hour ago.

For the record Im in the "Im buying this" camp

I do remember however, at one point when they announced Paid DLC would be introduced. Frontier mentioned that the only thing they would charge extra for were scenery packs. All rides and gameplay features would remain free. Maybe I misunderstood maybe it was only meant for that one pack. But I do remember that being said.

Im alright with paying for things, BUT if that claim was made the two paywall rides in the pack would in my opinion infringe and should be addressed and made right.

The more I look into it the more I fear the one year pack will in fact also be paid DLC or have some hidden behind paid DLC.

Thanks for uploading Joel.Nice to finally see inside decorating too in planet coaster.My favorite thing in this update is probably the ENF MYSTIC MOVER that we can rotate on all axis(i think).It makes up perfectly for Mystic Manor recreation or a harry potter ride,together with the flying books and candles[wink]

You miss my point. I think there will be lots of people eating humble pie after seeing those screen shots as the content is great. They could of saved a lot of in house arguing by sharing a couple when then dropped the news yesterday. IMO.

Given the incredible amount of free content that has been patched in to Planet Coaster since launch, I'll be happy to pay $10.99 for this pack.

I do think that the pack should include a set of career mode scenarios and a biome though (and while I'm dreaming, make the first scenario free to everyone as a demo for the pack).

there's NOT a lot of free content and scenarios cant cost money because u have to complete them to get to the other

I am thankful for the spooky theme. But honestly I wish they had made an expansion pack with a variety new themed pieces, rides, etc. I know Frontier/Planet Coaster is working hard and I appreciate all they do. So it's not that I'm not grateful or thankful because I am. To me it would be better for a larger expansion with more items then to have to purchase these little packs. I want to support the developers, but I would be willing to spend a little more money on an expansion pack that included a variety of new stuff. I did purchase the Back To The Future Kit, The Munsters Kit and the Knight Rider Kit to support the developers.

Ok, so I'm going to look at this from a different angle them most.

I love new content! It all looks amazing and I will not buy it.

This Paid DLC for theming thing is the exact reason we will not get any type of ability to make UGC any time soon!

If the community can make new themes and needed items for the game, Frontier cant cash in on the packs..
Its a double edged sword. I would pay for new rides, new core gameplay mechanics. I refuse to pay for theming when we were all told in APLHA that UGC will come at some point.

One of the main reason I loved RCT2 and RCT3 was the custom UGC that was added. That is what gave those games the longevity they both enjoyed! Planet coaster was/is the true RCT4 and Frontier is now wanting to cash in on themes the community could make themselves. I understand as a business they have to make money. Paid DLCs should be full on expansion packs. Water parks, new Rides, new gameplay features.

PS: I am aware that the DLC comes with 2 rides. If they offered the theming items for free and had you pay 2.99 for the rides I would more then likely be ok with it. It, to me, feels wrong to ask for money for something the community would love to be able to do with a UGC update...

Have you noticed, that this DLC will be released BEFORE the Frontier Expo??? What should they show at the Expo show, if they release now an larger Expansion Pack with dfferent themes. For PC are 3 new DLC slots reserved in the Data Base, one is now reserved for the Spooky Pack, so two slots are still open for upcoming things ... we should wait 'til the Frontier Expo is over.

They will probably announce the release date at the Expo (And reveal some/all of what it will contain)
