Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

There is no point in discussing further about the new DLC. Is the last one and it is not possible to include everything important we think is missing. The closer it could get to that is an Américas Pack with more animals than usual and scenery, and that includes more than 1 bird (including pelican and duck), monkeys and both bears.

And even then forget about all we are missing from África (baboon, crane, serval, secretary, chameleon) and asia (Indian monkey, cobra, blackbuck, Palla's cat, markhor)

Oh definitely, I’m just saying it’s kind of sad. Though I agree there isn’t much to say left that hasn’t already been said.

It's a difficult discussion really. With other packs I would always be positive and think, the animal missing is probably gonna be in the next pack. But with the last pack incoming it's not realistic anymore. I feel like they are gonna go with the america's pack, which seems natural after eurasian/oceania/arid covering the other parts of the world. So I'm already in the mindset that we are not gonna get a secretary bird, baboon, tree-roo or anything else not from the America's to not set myself up for disappointment.

So while I would be upset about losing out on some of the animals from around the world, if there is one place I think deserves to be in the final pack it’s gonna be the Americas/ Latin America. South America is well represented all over the world, so it simply deserves the spot. The only thing I am unsure of, is will they combine a North America/ South America pack. Or do a Central America/ South America pack

Pre-order bonuses are usually something not really that relevant, just a little incentive to make the pre-order, for jwe it was literal skins for some vehicles. The deluxe version being the pre-order bonus makes way more sense and even then it feels more generous than any other pre-order bonus I've seen.

To be fair, when they released PlanCo for console pre-orders got two of the DLC for free.

That said, when I read that post I wasn't thinking of the traditional "bonus" like what you're describing. Because yeah, it would definitely be a weird look to fully give something new like that away for free. I was thinking more that it would be part of the "deluxe" edition of the game or whatever.

But you're right. That would still probably be too much.

Personally i hope for a final pack that includes animals from around the world.
SA if obviously the region which deserves, even needs, a pack the most, and its easily the region i want to see expanded on the most.
But despite that the majority of my most wanted animals arent actually from SA

That’s what I agree the issue is, despite we all agree South America needs a boost we all want animals from all over the world. My most wanted animal is still a duck species, so unless it’s a Muscovy duck, teal, or white faced whistling duck I doubt I would get one if it’s a South American dlc. Even then I don’t think I would get a duck if they did a South American theme again. They would use other bird species.

Brown/American White Pelican, Scarlet Ibis, Roseate Spoonbil, Greater Rhea, American Flamingo, any geese, any duck. And that's just the birds. I haven't even started yet on the coati, walrus, patagonian mara and monkey's.

Yeah that’s what I’m feeling too, Frontier has historically ignored habitat birds. As much as I want/ need more birds for the Americas and beyond, I don’t expect that trend to stop now. At most I think we might see two birds in the final pack. I’ll be over the moon if we are given three. But mammals are what are popular, so we will get more mammals. (I’m happy for all of you, but like I mentioned in a previous post, it’s kind of sad being a paying customer and feeling ignored over my desire for more habitat birds) ((granted I also want more mammals too so I won’t act like I’m not part of the problem I’m upset about lmao))

If it’s a worldwide pack I think we will most likely get a secretary bird and grey crowned crane, I’m not sure if we would get more than that

If it’s an Americas pack I think we might get a Rhea and a some waterfowl species.
