Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

They really didn't tell us anything about PC PZ that we didn't already know. We already had solid confirmation a PDLC is coming before June 1st. If anything, from how Holly said what she said, I'm further convinced a larger farewell pack is coming in the spring. Really make sense in my mind since they are really hyping up this next CMS game, definitely their biggest focus atm.
Yup. All the stream did was further confirm that we have one more DLC coming. No more, no less to read into it. The words were so vague and "marketing-y" that you really can't squeeze much more out of it unless you're looking for copium.

I, too, hope we are still happy with Frontier based on whatever they do with Planet Zoo next. LOL

Is it really doomspeak if it's based on evidence/logic and people are accepting of it while also still hoping for more, though?

At a certain point it ceases to be "doomspeak" and evolves into "real talk." We're at a point where much of this is just... Reasonable chatter. Doomspeak is people assuming we don't have at least one more DLC coming, talking about how the community will die when support ends, etc.

Exactly. Its not doomspeak if its based on actual evidence and is realistic. People who thought the game was ending 2021, that is doomspeak because there was nothing but guessing support would end.

It would be a weird move to give komodo dragon, pygmy hippo and the gazelle only to pre-orders on console. I bet they will release these animals later on for all console players to enjoy. They probably don't mention this yet because they want as many pre-orders as possible.

Doomspeak is probably more relevant to the people who refuse to acknowledge we have at least one more dlc to come. But then we have the exact same discussion literally every time the financial report comes out to then be suprised with another year of support, who can we trust? the unknown future of the game or the people routinely shoving "one dlc left" down our throats?
