Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

Honest question to those who didn't want a domestic pack:

Many of y'all mentioned that y'all didn't want this kinda pack if PlanZo ended support in winter 2023, but if we were to get some DLC in 2024, then it'd be ok.

So, how would y'all feel if spring 2024 was to be a scenery domestic animal DLC?
I still do not want or need it. If it Happens it Happens but it is very low on my priority list.

For the exhibit, I'm afraid many people are going to expect macaws or any other bird in the walkthrough exhibit and then we'll have a tremendous drama when the South America 2 pack is announced with a normal exhibit, so I'm starting my campaign now to get this cute animal as the exhibit animal:

It would be our first basilisk and we are short of lizards in the game.

People which still expect (Not Hope) Flying birds in a Pack are guilty by themselves If they are frustrated afterwards. It seems pretty obvious that this will not happen anymore. Could it Happen? Yes! Is it likely and can be an expectation? Surely not! I have No pity anymore I must say 😃

Definetly agree that were short on lizards, but idk if basilisks are the ideal pick. What makes the exciting is their active behaviour and ability to run over water, which isnt really doable in the exhibit setting.

Edit: on second thought, they dont do the water running thing in captivity anyways, so i guess they would work

If they don't take advantage of the walkthrough exhibit in order to make flying birds happen, then what is the point of making the walkthrough exhibit in the first place? Did they create the walkthrough exhibit just so we could get bats (very similar to flying birds) butterflies and sloths? Would Frontier really go through the effort of making something as complicated as the walkthrough exhibit and never use it for flying birds, which are perhaps the most heavily requested feature in the history of this game? I don't know if I'd be so quick to write it off as a possibility.

And to be clear, I'm not going to be frustrated if we don't get them, I've never even wanted flying birds in the game all that much. I just don't see how Frontier doesn't include them in some way at this point with how much demand there has been for them. Call me an optimist or whatever you want to say. I just can't see how this walkthrough exhibit feature doesn't get utilized for something bigger than what it's been used for already.

If Frontier knows how much people want flying birds, and they don't take advantage of that in some way, it's either because of a major limitation with the game's engine that we aren't aware of, or it just means that Frontier really doesn't like birds (totally possible based on how few birds we've gotten at this point). That's my take on this topic.

We need more exhibit lizards! We gotten a new one since Australia Pack (over three years ago)! I personally want a two-toed sloth in a Latin America Pack, but something like a basilisk or caiman lizard would be my second choice!

Africa and Arid - Africa
Southest Asia, Conservation and Tropical - Asia
Europe and Eurasia - Europe
Australia and Oceania - Oceania
North America and Twilight - North America
Wetlands, Aquatic and Grasslands - General

U know who's left, right? 😏
I always find it funny to see how people group packs because twilights scenery is european, 2 of the animals arent north american at all and one is on every continent so how people look at that and go thats just north america 2 is beyond me. I get the sentiment behind tropical though I dont agree with it, euarisa and conservation yeah I guess even though they do have animals with other continental distributions. The combo people are truly sleeping on is artic and north america.

If 2024 is the last year of dlc absolutely not the only animal that could possible be in that pack that I would actively want is the alpaca. There are so many themes and animals that I would want over a domestics pack which would be great for the game in terms of realistic zoo builds but have almost no animals that im actively excited to build for. If we are getting dlc further than 2024 I will be fine with it.

If you read again my comments I have written at the end that Flying birds could happen but that they should not be expected. The bats are now more than one year within the Game and with a realistic view on the Things it becomes more and more unlikely that we will get one Flying Bird within that game.
And summarized all I wanted to say is that I have no pity anymore if anyone is frustrated after we are getting a Pack without flying birds again. Its their own fault when they still expect them to be in the pack because nobody has promised that.

You're forgetting the potential ducks and geese and even general fowl we could get😉
