That's the thing people are overlooking. They'll be able to make extra money on DLC from console players by re-releasing the existing DLC from the PC game. At a much cheaper cost/higher ROI for them than developing new DLC for PC.

If the Spring DLC is the last one, I just hope that the last DLC is good. I know it won't have everything everyone is asking for, but I'm just hoping that we'll get the biggest things that we're missing currently to fill the gaps.
Expansion dlc = last dlc
normal dlc = support continues
I should flip a coin and pick a choice for what Im thinking what is going to happen.
From a marketing perspective, it certainly does. Spending $10-20 every 2-3 months for new content (less than that if you include sales) feels a lot less overwhelming financially for the consumer and you can keep awareness up overallly because you have more to talk about (and you can worry less about "reminding" people to buy content that's already been released).

This time, it does feel like the clever choice is to expect it to be ''the end'' and then be positively surprised if it isn't. Therefore I think of the next DLC as the last.
Though I will not say anything is set in stone at the moment. Frontier just behaves differently now after the layoffs and all that. At least in the way they communicate here on the forum and how they use their SoMe. It almost feels like a different company took over.
So what has been done in the past might not necessarily predict what will happen going forward. Strategies change over time, especially after crises.

Seriously, if the console version contains any content not available to PC players I would see that as a slap in the face.
