Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

I missed the livestream, but does this mean we are getting more DLC? I did say I might have to eat humble pie on my grumble post on the other thread  Or is it possible they just mean "not quite done with PC yet" is "one more DLC."

Last whiles birds in general. Mandarin, secretary, bar headed goose, pelican, parrots, its like being in a candy shop for bird enjoyers
Yeah but the parrots don't fly, right? I see that they're based on Colombian Capuchin Monkey so I guess they move on the ground and on the trees. I haven't checked them in game yet but I'm scared that their moves will be too strange for me to use them. But I agree on the fact that they're looking great.
As for the other birds, they're simply beautiful and I can't wait to put them in my zoos.

Well yeah they are not done just yet. We knew we have still one more DLC at the very least (and i suspect at least something for the fifth anniversary) but this doesn't confirms anything beyond that. We can still keep doom talking 🤣

To me I would interpret that two ways:

A) A bigger final pack is coming in May/June.

B) DLCs are going to continue regular service into the next financial year.

I suspect the former but the latter isn't too far fetched. Just look at the console pricing. Planet Zoo is a cash cow for them. The first zoo game since ZT2, nearly two decades on and essentially has the market cornered. There's no competition in zoo games and it might be worth making these little bumper packs of 4-7 animals for a while longer with this expanded playerbase.

The only thing that is worth considering - if the workshop is cross-platform with PC, how does that work with new DLCs likely coming later to console than pC?

Bet the doom talk still continues despite sort of confirmation of future support.
They said that it’s not the end of planet zoo yet but I bet people will continue the doom talk
This is why I don’t engage myself with this stuff:

Emotionally hyping around topics, popular discourse or not, which I can get vibes from around how they tackle their games that may hint or indicate otherwise, over absolutely nothing. Yet, never learn or remember from these mistakes and repeat it over, over, over, and over again.

but people were already doom talking saying that we were not going to get anything else, not even at least one more DLC.

From the website detailing all the console info, the workshop content part didn't mention anything about crossplatform workshop content but rather share across the console edition - "Planet Zoo: Console Edition will feature the Frontier Workshop which allows players to share zoos and blueprints with the rest of the Planet Zoo console community." The console community mention implies a seperation from the pc community.

They really didn't tell us anything about PC PZ that we didn't already know. We already had solid confirmation a PDLC is coming before June 1st. If anything, from how Holly said what she said, I'm further convinced a larger farewell pack is coming in the spring. Really make sense in my mind since they are really hyping up this next CMS game, definitely their biggest focus atm.

Frontier coming with the classic we have nothing to announce yet!

From funny side this stream also almost confirmed komodo, pygmy hippo and thomson gazelle are gone for console players after release. Thats one damn scumbag move.
They prepared SEA and Wetlands Pack to come separately after launch, but nothing said about these animals as expected.
