Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

Do you think Spring DLC will be the last for PZ? A lot of people are saying that 2024 will be the last year for PZ DLC, and it looks like there may be one or two opportunities left for DLC (Spring + Summer?)
My question is: 1) Is the Spring DLC going to be a last one, before the last big DLC, which could feature bird DLC (with flying bird animations, shows, etc).
2) What about a "Marine Mania" expansion DLC for Planet Zoo?

It seems that the vast majority of the community is leaning towards Frontier leaving the birds and "Planet Aquarium-like" for a PZ2...
There's already no guarantee that we'll ever see a PZ2, and if that's the case... we'll probably have at least 3-4 years before a new PZ2 with these potential expansions...
That's a very long wait... without even knowing for sure that they'll be included!

Frontiers staff, if you're watching this thread and this post, don't wait for a PZ2 to release animations or create packs for birds or marine animals!
The community will be extremely happy to have these expansions just for PZ!

We stuck without them. Happens.
Enjoy more hoofstock and cats tho.

1. I highly doubt we get another dlc after this one, would be nice, but if they were gonna do that it would have been in the financial report.
2. I don’t think the final dlc will be the bird dlc, but it definitely should help boost the bird roster in game. I don’t think we will get flying birds either. I would like to be wrong, but this late in the game I doubt Frontier would create such major changes. Still, it could hopefully contain a bunch of habitat birds which is what I hope for.
3. I doubt we would get a “marine mania” style expansion this late into the game, but we could hopefully get another marine mammal in the walrus.

To be honest, even if Planet Zoo could theoretically be worked on for years we don’t have any sign Frontier will. Which is unfortunate, chances are these are things we could see in an eventual future sequel. While I agree I would rather this game be worked on, with regards to Frontiers current financial state, I can see how a sequel seems like a better idea than continuing the support.

It all depends on what the next DLC will be like. If it is a regular pack (scenery 5 animals or animal pack 8 animals no scenery) then i think we could expect something bigger to wrap up support either in June or for anniversary. If it is a bigger DLC then is over.

I personally do expect something for anniversary at the very least. Is the five year mark. Is quite an important number. Not necessarily a DLC but maybe one or two free animals.

hey guys what the worse, least realistic, final pack you could think of it can have any number of animals and scenery the only rule is it has to be terrible or at least mid; I will start.

African Ungulate Pack
Rock Hyrax
Kirk's Dik-Dik
Greater Kudu
Common Eland
Water Buck
Moutain Zebra
Gerenuk
Impala
Bontebok
Blue Duiker

50 scenery all of which is just taxidermy of all the animals in this pack.

Worst doesn't necessary equate least realistic in this case. I that your example of an African Ungulate pack would be the worst I could ask for. It would specifically not include a second Giraffe species as well, which is pretty much the only other African ungulate I'm looking for.

Least realistic would be a pack that's full of complicated to design and animate animals, IMO. Never mind that it would be wildly popular it would just be so unrealistic we'd get this.
Tree Kangaroo species
Brazilian Porcupine
Coatimundi species
Spider Monkey species
Golden Lion Tamarin (habitat)
Southern Tamandua
Echidna
Aye Aye
Snowshoe Hare
West Indian Manatee

When I said least realistic, I mean that even frontier would know it's a bad idea and not do it. but the focus is on terrible pack ideas, but your line-up is nice. Also, Brazilian Porcupine is so under rated.

Well i just saw the video.

The whole demenour and tone on that "not quite done with PC yet" is not very hopeful lol

He certainly sounded like " he won't say is the end of support for PC but it is but there is a few more things left still "

Compared that to how excited and optimistic and happy the tone was for the rest of the stuff that last bit sounded kind of --- defeated? lol
