Very true, except in Frontiers last zoo game.
Which the ultimate edition of Zoo Tyccon for the Xbox actually had even more flying bird species. So I guess my comments like those are more due to it feeling like we are going backwards on flying birds.

All marketing right now is for the console edition, I don't think we will see anything related to the dlc anytime soon.
I hope is not DLC related other wise: AFRICA??? AGAIN?
Doubt it, probably going to be an adventure tour of the base game animals to get console players excited with the animals using the same style as dlc hints. Let's hope frontier doesn't see the demand for baboons and secretary bird as a hint that we want another Africa pack. It's like the last thing we need at the moment to end the game with even more African animals.

Ironicly enough i think if this isnt the final pack a safari animal pack would be one of the best to add in 2024. Would be a good way to round up alot of the requested animals like the secretary, the rhea and mara combo and something for india like the nilgai
Yeah once again no monkeys, just a baboon. And mostly african animals: secretary, grey crowned crane, serval, honey badger, baboon.
And i don't see how mara and rhea fit in a safari pack. They are not typical safaris animals. Indian animals i can see it, since safaris are a thing for trips to India as well, but doesn't really fit SouthAmerica.
There are monkeys that would fit the theme like certain guereza subspecies, vervet monkey and grey langurs. Not that i really expect them do add any monkey, they leave them out where they are the obvious picks nvm those packs where they arent
And there are safaris in patagonia, they are just not as well known as the african ones, i mean if all else fails they could just name it scrublands or whatever

I’m wondering if the final dlc will just follow the pattern of complementing past dlc, in which case an Americas pack still seems the most likely. All of last year we only got two animals for the Americas. So I imagine that will be subject to change.
Honestly I may start posting on other threads, it feels like we can only talk about the same couple ideas. Which makes sense, only Frontier knows how this final dlc will go. Hopefully we will get news on the end of the month livestream, though I’m predicting it’s just gonna be information about the impending console release.

Absolutely, South America needs all the 12 spots. At very least 8 (Animal Pack).
Not to say that there still wouldn't be NA animals that I would be stoked to see, but SA needs dedicated pack, we're still missing so much from down there.
I would LOVE to have Black Bear, Tree Porcupine, Sea Otter, Turkey, Elk, Musk Ox...etc, but not at cost of single spot in SA roster.

Agreed. I mean I adore bat-eared fox but Patagonian Mara is objectively much better choice. It would add new taxon, region and niche to the game. Plus its common in zoos.
I dont think the dlc will be for summer. The financial report said it will be released before the end of fiscal year, so it will be released before the end of may?
