You already can change the path in WE to any other path in the game, so that part is obvious. Is that a hint to more WE animals, maybe to a complete aviary system? I hope so!

Those are all wild animals, replace all of them with farm animals and people will already chase Frontier with the forks and torches.
At least the pelican would be a clearly new animal design...? And a bird!
I think the new features are going to be great in-game! Multi-axis movement, null paths, and climbable toggle will make building easier... And the sociality feature will be fun to see in action. And what's really interesting right now is that these new features can point to a range of possible DLC themes/ideas or animals. Or they might point to nothing at all because a couple of them have been highly requested for years! Haha.
Although some of the features usually do tend to tie into the DLC somehow... Or they hold back an aspect of the features until the DLC is announced so as not to spoil the surprise.

Too true!!! I would make sure that frontier would add this animal to whatever pack, I don't have an issue if frontier would add porcupine in Aviary Pack or Aquarium Pack! at this point I'm desperate!
I mean, there necessarily isn't any reason a porcupine couldn't come in the next pack.

Arboreal would work for most new world porcupines - brazilian (my new "get this in the game" obession) and North american come to mind
Rainforests - Several of the South American variety
Islands - The Philippine Porcupine
Kids Zoo - Crested Porcupine
Drylands - Crested/Caped/Indian Porcupine
Temperate/Woodlands - NA Porcupine
General Asia - Indian Porcupine
Tundra/Taiga - NA Porcupine (yes, they can live in the Tundra!)
Avian - they're in the air if they fall out of trees. That counts, right? RIGHT?
Alas, I don't really think this time around will be the Porcupine's moment, unless it's rainforests and arboreal, and while it would work as an oddball pick, there's too many higher profile animals to go to first, and they'll leave it out to get an Old World species in later. I think as far as the major wants go the Tasmanian Devil and Sloth have the highest chance of making it into whatever theme this pack will be.
