Spring dlc Speculation 2023

You who have been around for awhile: What to expect from the next annoncement? Do they normally just give out the name of the Pack and reveal one or two animals or is it usually a big reveal with a trailer, all animals revealed and other information?

Second option, we get a trailer that shows at least the flagship species, as well as confirmation of all the animals in the pack and any building themes in the forum post.

It will be a short trailer with one or two headliner animals featured, but in the notes attached it will list all species and main scenery theme/foliage that will feature.

Yea I won't lie I hope it's islands and the hog is just us reaching because Rainforests really deserves to be an animal pack more than anything else.

That would be extremly dissapointing for me. I dont want another Tiger at all, but I could give it a pass in an animal pack. BUT in a scenery pack? Please no.

I wouldn't give it pass either way. I just get a bengal tiger with small size genes. Unless they added it for free I'd be actively annoyed with its inclusion.

I thought of the crab-eating macaque as well as a representative Balinese animal. They might be too similar to the Japanese macaque already in-game though.

Yes, that's why I would prefer the South American monkey, or if it must be from Indonesia, the Sulawesi crested macaque. But it would be really weird having Balinese scenery without any habitat Balinese animals in the whole game, wouldn't it?

I thought the scenery could have been from lots of places in SE Asia, not just Indonesia and definitely not just Bali. Have travelled the region quite a lot and it could have been a Thai pagoda, Vietnamese, Chinese, Malaysian, etc. With fallen ruins scattered around as well which could have been from anywhere in the Ancient Indian Empire which spanned vast regions.

From my experience it tends to be announced at 9:00 AM EST.

Would be the perfect opportunity for a crowned pigeon, if it is Islands...

This would honestly bring this pack up several spots in my personal ranking haha

I just realized...going back to the letters...what if it's not a Fossa? What if we're getting SOFAS instead, for more comfortable seating for our guests?

Only animals: office dog, small aquarium and hamster in cheap plastic cage
Scenery: office interior
New mechanic: tax evasion

Personally, I might be most excited about the possibility of more ground cover plants for the tropical biomes lmao - the added Grasslands plants have been AMAZING for lifelike environments

I really hope the beautiful traveler's tree from Madagascar is included no matter if it's an island, rainforest or exploration pack.
