I mean, I believe that most of us never had a problem with "clones" in the 1st place. That's probably why there's always 1 or 2 clones in a pack, 1 altered clone (same rig but slightly different animations), and then our new guy
That's really interesting and definitely makes sense if you think about it. So real "clones" in the game are just animals that use animations that existing animations?
The only real clones imo are the Malayan tapir and HBB
If only they'll be redone. Maybe part of the HBB hate is because they look like grizzlies; maybe some hate will die down if they look more like HBBs
I think the hate will never die down for them. I think until we have the Eurasian Brown Bear, the HBB will never really feel like a worthy or interesting slot. I’m sure if we ever got the EBB, more people would appreciate the HBB. But for now, it remains a questionable addition and feels like it took the spot of an animal that would’ve been better included in the base game.
Disney's Animal Kingdom and the Greensboro Science Center (both in the AZA) also have them!
There are 132 holdings of Nile crocodiles in the EAZA.
They are very common and you guys dont need to guess by personal experience.

We are really near of a possible announcement, maybye 3 or 4 weeks to see the first dlc of 2023. The previous weeks before the update announcement and special livestream are possibly the best ones so far. I really hope next dlc would be an inesperated one, like wetlands or conservation, and hopefullly an animal pack. Just a few more weeks to see it!
Yeah hopefully about 3 weeks or so left, wish the steamdb would pick up the pace sooner rather than later

Add to that, at launch, the fact both Australia and South America were drastically underrepresented made them, or themes that focused on them, practical given for the first year of content...unless they wanted to incite a lot of criticism. All is...well, not well with South America...but all is certainly much much better than it was 3 years ago.
I really hope 2023 does for SA what 2022 did for Australia
Ironic when both got 4 Habitat animals and SA even got 3 butterflies aswell.
