I think frontier probably will announce the free update or in 11am GMT or 2pm GMT, I expect today news about 1.13 free update because that's what frontier doing with their streams it is divided into two parts, one part is the CM talking about what the update include, and part 2 is dlc hints & full reveal for animal in the pack (most of the times the headliner for the pack).

If I remember well, sometimes we had the livestream before the update and DLC announcements (although not in the last couple times). So it's also possible that we get livestream today, tomorrow update and Friday DLC announcements. Who knows. Frontier always finds a way to break the patterns and play with us

I'm new to PZ since I just got it last week from the Steam Sale. And wow, it truly is incredible! From one who played a lot of the original Zoo Tycoon as a kid it's like Planet Zoo is the grown up version of my childhood's favourite game
I've been browsing this thread to try and understand what this special livestream thing actually is about. What does it really mean? Do they announce the new DLC in it or are they just giving us hints about it? What does the special livestream normally contain?

Welcome to the family! The special livestreams are funny to watch because they are different every time and most of us are interacting on the chat. They usually give hints about at least one new animal. Once they told a tale where the characters were the animals of the new DLC (without saying their names of course), other time they told scary stories teasing the new animals. Last time they built a habitat with Legos and at the end placed a new animal toy in the habitat. Sometimes they were drawing or painting things, including a new animal... They are very creative and it's really very funny. And the forum goes crazy with lots of pages of new commentsHey guys!

I was going to say except me but then I saw this.
Don’t get me wrong, birds would be nice but it would feel underwhelming just like exhibit animals. Not bc of the potential to have looping animations and animals being “props” but because the number if species wil never be satisfactory at least for me.
If they take bunnies for the stream, it will be out of my hands, I’ll become totally crazy.Not that it would happen, but I just imagined them with a goat and bunnies in the studio.(in case of domestic/petting DLC). The goat eating their furniture

On the lifestreams they also sometimes give away little pieces of Merchandise to those who watch on twitch! Not sure if they also do it for the special livestreams but I once won little pins

I'm only asking because I know that some places, like Mexico, don't (or at least didn't) have wifi, but then here in Houston the Metro has their own wifi on each bus
