Spring dlc Speculation 2023

It would be the first time they do scenery pieces of specific region and no special animals of this region
We had the North African theme which only matched with the Fennec. Probably this pack will have one Indonesian species along with the Fossa, Tasmanian Devil and another islands species. I also think we may get themed items from other island regions such as the Caribbean and Polynesia.

Were both sounds the same animal? I assumed they were different. Also 100% expecting this is rainforests, not islands, even though as I expected they're giving plausible deniability for both at the moment.

Yep, could be both. They are playing with us. I Hope we get final News tomorrow and do Not have to wait until Friday

Edit: Even both, Madagascar and Indonesia works for both possibilities 😀

Yeah, I'm not discounting another "nocturnal woodlands" pack scenario either, with this being "tropical islands". I just think that'd be a tremendous waste of both themes' potential, especially turning it into a scenery pack.

I'm certain it's an islands pack. The river is a red herring, based on the plant-life and architecture it's in indonesia/new guinea... which area island nations. Fossa are from madagascar, an island. that ties it together in my opinion.

The fossa also makes more sense as an island headliner than a rainforest headliner (which would have to be a sloth, parrot/toucan, or monkey)

I'm leaning towards rainforests at the moment, although I think islands is still a possibility as all the content we see fits (and of course that'd still be my preference just for the sake of the Tasmanian devil). Either way, it's awesome to have the fossa confirmed!
