I think taking “exploration” as meaning “anywhere that can be explored” is far too broad of a theme to make sense or be marketable. I don’t expect a grab bag theme, there’s got to be something specific tying it together, even if it’s loose. This could still wind up just being a Tropical or Rainforests pack, in which case obviously most of the SA usual suspects are on the table. But I think if they go with a “made up” theme like Exploration, it’s going to be because the species selected are either more (see: the nocturnal woodland species of the Twilight Pack) or less (see: the geographically unrelated Conservation Pack) specifically linked than a simple biome label would cover. Otherwise they’d just call it the Rainforests Pack or whatever.
So people, whats your dream packs that still make sense?
Id be more then happy with the pack being a rainforest scenery pack with the fossa, a SA monkey, pig nosed turtle and low land anoa with an SEA scenery theme.
Ironically its still 3 island animals, but i honestly dont care, SA needs a monkey, continental asia doesnt have more interesting tropical non primates then indonesia and the pig nosed turtle is based.
It will also clean up some room for a future island pack, eventhough it ironically takes out the one of the 4 main contenders that isnt from oceania

My opinion is also biased here. To me, the typical island trio is just not very interesting to get all at once in a scenery pack. I'm fine with all of their inclusions in the game, I would just rather it was in a scenario we hadn't guessed 3 months ago. Leaving us with one surprise habitat spot that could be something good, but could also turn out to be a tanuki...
I would also prefer the devil over the fossa, should I only choose one.
A sifaka would be awesome as well! Nile Crocodiles also have range in Madagascar as well and Africa is the only continent with a crocodilian that isn't covered yet in the game
Id rather have a devil then the fossa, but its how it is.
Personally i give a damn on the wishlist as most popular =/= best or even good addition to the game and i rather have frontier give us fun picks that have more things going for them then being popular.
Not saying nothing on the meta wishlist has something going for them, but consistently the more whacko additions where the ones i found much more usefull.
Both Packs would be a dream Pack for me to be honest. Both with Highlights. Perhaps not your or my Personal ones but for the Community as a whole

Since we appear like we're getting the Fossa and a scenery pack, I still hope it's an Islands Pack. Turning a Rainforest pack into a Scenery pack would be disappointing as there are so many animals that could be in it that won't be.
If it is a Rainforest scenery pack, Fossa seems confirmed and I cannot imagine they would do this pack without a Sloth. That still leaves two habitat animals.
Maybe we can flip them over for nice rocks
Eh the 'nightmare' pack seems to travel around way too much, it has lost all volume of a unique pack when everyone suggests it. With now Indonesia theming at least hinged, I'm so glad frontier went with the unique creative option to a (possible) islands pack

I'm not saying it should be added because it's at the top of the metawishlist, I'm contesting the idea that it should be postponed (more than it already has been anyway) because it's at the top of the metawishlist. I love oddball picks too but that doesn't mean we should avoid adding popular animals either.
Love the livestreams! Fossa is great. But I guess I’m happy with whatever we will get. New animals yay
