If we get it the announcement today, it will be within the next 1-4 hours. They've been announced my time between 4 and 7 am and it's almost 3 am here.
Spring dlc Speculation 2023

This is one of my most wanted plants. If we're not getting it now, I must admit I'll be disappointed.
Ohh heck yes, I've awaited this foliage ever since the game was released. Hope that hunger be quelled this time.
Even if it isn't in the pack, it could be in the update! I've never seen a tree like that and that tree would be boss to have!
I agree with this, seems very likely given the whole theme of the stream.
Never thought about it, but yeah, it makes sense, with the hats and all the stuff !!

I'm leaning more and more towards a (Jungle) Expedition Pack, given the theme of the livestream.
If it's a scenery pack (which seems likely) I think we're getting the following animals:
Fossa (for obvious reasons)
Red River Hog (#hoggate)
Sloth (Dave looked lika a sloth when he was swimming)
Ibis
Panther Chameleon (E)
Since Fossa, Red River Hog and Sloths are some of the most popular animals of the ones missing from the game I'd say this would be a great pack, eventough it's a scenery pack.
I have the same feeling, Dave swim like as a slothI'm leaning more and more towards a (Jungle) Expedition Pack, given the theme of the livestream.

After sleeping over it, i feel quite indifferent to the pack. Im not saying it will be bad, but i feel like it got a good chance to be boring.
While i am very happy about SEA scenery and more tropical foliage is especally welcome, it does put a damper on animal speculation.
To be blunt, the fossa while defenetly a good addition on its own right holds this pack hostage with it being both an african rainforest and island animal.
Id say for sure we will get atleast one Indonesian animal to go along with the scenery with the bali mynah for the WE being an especally fitting option id be more then happy with and most likly one habitat animal aswell, be it something like the lowland anoa or what feels more likly an SEA monkey like the crab eating macaque or the southern pig tailed macaque, which for the record im more then cool with and they would fit great with the temple pieces, i know most people wont be if something of the holy trinity of oceanian island animals is getting shafted (pls frontier, let it be the kiwi) but that way wed actually get a mostly satisfying and diverse islands pack.
Rainforest meanwhile...well, either no hog and possibly 2 SA animals or Hog and max 1 SA animal, which would be uhhh...unideal for a rainforest pack

Count me in aswell
the kiwi is my most wanted among the three most Common Oceanian island animals - and my main zoo is set in Tasmania!
Total disagree - neither ‘discovery’ or ‘exploration’ even qualify as a theme IMO, the only animals that wouldn’t fit would be Eurasian and even that would betray a massive colonial / European POV.
