SRV auto refuel

Yea I find it annoying I have to go to a station to refuel my SRV.

If I opt for the bigger hanger with 2 SRVs and one runs out of fuel is the other full of fuel?

They are independent SRV's. Fuel is easy to come by on planets, also keep in mind that switching off non essential modules saves fuel, and driving economically will cause fuel consumption to drop. Can't say I have ever been worried about fuel in this game, with the new material limits it is even more of a non issue.

they can repair almost instantly but not refuel? I find it very odd especially since all the materials are on my ship already.
 
SRV still don't auto refill after boarding the ship..
how hard is it to fix this?

Really? I could have sworn they did! Can't check however because the in-laws have descended for the weekend; thus I am banned from the Xbox. Lucky me!

Sulfur is a VERY COMMON element. Phosphorus isnt that hard to find. You can refuel your srv with those. Just make sure your in your srv when you do it. Cant synthesize refuel from the ship.

It doesn't matter how easy it is to find materials on a planet to synth some fuel. If docking with your ship instantly repairs it, why shouldn't it also refuel it? Needs to be consistent.
 
It's a game, they have to put limits in for game play reasons. Like the yaw nerf(pitch nerf in star citizen).
I now have over 75 refuels in synthesis, as 777 said : Refuel materials are everywhere.

SRV is repaired, but you can't build a new one. Yet you can build a new SLF from scratch. Consistency is something that happens in other games.
 
well it's just as easy to find materials to repair too.. just makes no sense. I think they forgot to "fix" it.

Additionally, remember that the shield in the SRV does not protect against collisions with the ground, so unless you are finding skimmers it is safe to disable it and get that much fuel reduction as well.

You're right, they shouldn't auto-repair either.

Also, the materials aren't 'on the ship', they're in your 'pockets', which is why you don't lose them when your ship blows up.

With new spawn rates for element nodes on planet, you'd have to be preeeeeeeetty unlucky to run out of fuel.....

It's been like this for years, so I think it's WAI.

p.s. Do the SLFs run out of fuel?
 
It's so easy to gather the mats needed for synthesis that I cannot imagine anyone needing to ever refuel at a station.
