SRV Headlook.

Just a quick question,have any of you noticed Headlook not functioning in the SRV.
Works on all my ships but not in the SRV.
Have tried resetting the controls,binding to another button but nothing works.
So was wondering if you nice chaps could give it a try maybe,before i submit a ticket.
I have checked the bugs section and searched for others with the problem but came up empty.

mine works...maybe check your button setup. Perhaps you changed it by accident.

For me i click the right thmbstick and that activates it.

happened to me last week. exit the game and quit it. If that dont work, do a power cycle of your xbox. Mine didnt work because i was in an instance with a bunch of other users... Everything was moving like a slideshow except me.

Can someone tell me if I am being a bit dim.
My headlook button in SRV is the standard click right stick.
Now when you use this in a ship it is click into headlook then click out of headlook.
I was doing this SRV fine no probs,then recently,I thought,my headlook in SRV was not working as I was clicking and nothing happened the view would just remain centered.
Lots of messing around and I have found that the headlook works as long as the right click is being depressed.
Is this normal?
I was sure it worked as in ship,click to enter and click to exit,has this been changed or am I being dim?

Not normal. Dodgy thumb stick?

Nope works fine in ship,also bound it to loads of other buttons and you have to hold them all down to work.
Very odd.

Have you switched it off & on again..

That's honestly the #1 fix for so many odd glitches in elite dangerous. Power cycle the console.

after all really the xbox is merely a cunningly disguised pc with custom os, nowhere is this more apparent than when encountering the numerous 'quirky' instabilities of elite dangerous.

Has it changed in the menu settings? From the menu try Options / Controls / Driving Mode Switches / Headlook / Button Mode = "Toggle" as it may have switched to "Hold"

These options are separate for "Mode Switches" (ship) and "Driving Mode Switches" (SRV) so it's entirely possible it has gone a bit funny for one and not the other

This cured it thanks.
It was on toggle not hold but I just cycled it a couple of times and it cleared.

Found another reason for headlook not working. I change mode on TAB instead of M on the ship - so when wanting to shoot in the SRV it is telling me wrong mode press TAB but that does nothing - i need to press M (Which is set in SRV controls)
There seem to be a bug here that ship controls are mixed with SRV controls.
When i looked into ship control and assigned look up,look down, look left, look right to my gamepad RS - then it finally worked

Controls are the most irritating part of Elite. Have to go into controls panel so much and have to press so many menu buttons to enter and exit just the controls settings alone....
