Newcomer / Intro SRV hull repair to 100% when docking with your ship - broken?

This thread indicates Frontier wanted to keep the function of SRV hull returning to 100% health when you dock it into your ship:

However, my SRV's hull has been reduced to 71% and remains damaged when I dock and deploy it again.

Has this been changed, or is it a bug?

My SRV hull is returned to 100% with no problems. I read that people thought it was not happening any more so I paid close attention - returned to 100% every time.

I'll see if a complete computer reboot affects it. It's not a big issue - I always have a full load of synth mats for repairs. But a bit curious.

It has been working fine for me too recently (or all the time really).

Quitting and restarting the game fixed it (I rode out again and ran into a rock to test it, back to 100% on redocking). Strange glitch, that.

I thought the SRV repair-on-docking was a bug. I didn't say anything 'cause I figured we deserve a few positive bugs here and there
