Rough attempt at de-blueing it:
Honestly? I'd be happy with that.

I won't deny that's better but I still don't think it should be there.
So that is Copernicus's observatory sorted. What about the other stations?
GIVE ME TIME, SIR AND/OR MADAM!So that is Copernicus's observatory sorted. What about the other stations?![]()
Just make it the same colour as the rest and I would be fine with it. Why it's blue I have no idea.It breaks my immersions.
I know folk might think it's trivial, especially given the bugs, but please don't put STORE on in game menus. Put it behind Livery/Holome/Outfitting etc where it belongs.

That looks so much better. Much less distracting, even to the point of not being distracting at all.Rough attempt at de-blueing it:
Agreed, that is much better.
Yo! Frontier? I am available for hire, and I have extremely mediocre artistic skills! If it were like that in the first place, I doubt we'd have half the complaints we do now
Yeah. I don't really care if the store is easily accessible. Gotta put it somewhere anyway. But the bright blue is distracting AF (especially when you still can't officially change HUD color).
The icon is terrible as well.
The whole thing is cynical as heck.
If they absolutely had to do all this terrible stuff, they could have named that button ARX - then it at least could viably be something from the in game world.
Then suggest something better. That’s it, yes. It’s very tacky.
Although that does bear the question; why do we need a separate store when it's all already displayed in the Holo-Me/Livery menus anyway? Surely the cleanest, least intrusive option would be to allow ARX to be bought at point of sale to cover the cost of whatever you're trying to equip if you don't already own it and/or don't have the credit to cover it?Then suggest something better.
As it stands (apart from the blue, which absolutely has to go) it's still an improvement over the old 'where the hells do I actually buy stuff?' system, which separated ship stuff from Holo-Me stuff.
One button that you press to get to the store where you can buy anything for any part of the game is an improvement, IMHO obviously.

I suspect this is one of those things that we'll just have to see how we get on with it over time. I'm a bit anti-change, but I'd have to admit the old system was rather messy. I'm prepared to give the new system a fair try, and post any thoughts later.Although that does bear the question; why do we need a separate store when it's all already displayed in the Holo-Me/Livery menus anyway? It also applies to Holo-Me as well though, so it would need to be in at least two separate places where it would do exactly the same thing. Not sure that's good UI.Having it in main menu and livery not main station services screen. Much better.

The more cynically-minded among us might suspect that this is future-proofing against other future purchases which do not fall within ship livery or commander appearance.Although that does bear the question; why do we need a separate store when it's all already displayed in the Holo-Me/Livery menus anyway?
