Starport Repair Totals

I'm no longer updating this thread, though feel free to use it to discuss station repairs

Galnet has a dynamic post - called Galactic News: Starport Status Update (usually just under the powerplay update) - which lists all the requirements for the damaged startports (it's only in-game, not on the web version). There are also posts in each damaged starport with requirements. This thread lists the total requirements for each starport, so people can decide which they want to help repair (if any). Occasional graphs showing daily progress posted over weekends - look near end of thread for latest.

Erm, none of the Stations hit before Christmas have fixed and DFev have confirmed they won't be fully back on-line until they have all the repair commodities.

But Bloody hell that's a lot of stuff to ship

So we can see that Titan's Daughter is the most difficult (in terms of tonnage) to repair, and Hudson is easiest, though Cavalieri and The Oracle have the most support.

Is mining of any use for the stations? I was thinking onmaking a mining t10 and head on the zone.

I'm not sure how many stations AEGIS owns in the Pleiades, but next Thursday we'll have 3 more with repair status. I know a couple of more that are still ok, like Kippling Orbital (my base in the Pleiades) but it's just a matter of time. Unless FDev halts the Thargoid attacks and moves the story to another chapter.

If that doesnt happen, every AEGIS station will be in repair status very soon. And i'm almost sure they will stay that way for months to come. Unless some handwavium is shipped to them...

If only it would be worth to repair those. All stations in the Pleiades sector have terrible services, including Obsidian Orbital. It's station visit galore until you have all your stuff together.

Those are some astronomical resource requirements, too. Just for one station. I think we need more cargo space for that -> Panther Clipper confirmed ;-)

Panther clipper would certainly help. Issue is where materials are also. So if it came pls give us a range at least 25 lys empty

Those numbers suggest noone really cares about repairing these stations. I don't blame them. What a boring grind. Another community goal grind in a different dressing.

I'm rounding up some credits to put together a bulk cargo ship and I'll start pitching in more. This Asp Explorer I was using isn't quite cutting it out there.

Face it. Players aren't going to tote hundreds of tonnes of materials nearly 300ly when they can see that there are hundreds of THOUSANDS of tonnes required.
This assumes:
a) that people want to support repairing an Aegis station
b) that people are motivated to tote the materials
c) that people are going to be happy with just the market profit of the materials, and
d) that the Thargoids won't simply come along the following week and whack the station back into fiery submission.

There are 3 types of people. The Wills, the Won'ts and the Can'ts.
The Wills accomplish everything.
The Won'ts oppose everything.
The Can'ts won't will themselves to try.

I'm a can't. Can't be bothered.

At least on the low quantity materials pretty often. I can sometimes see the required numbers change by the time I bring back another load to the station. For all I know it might be updating after jumping between systems (the in station totals are the ones i've been checking and not the galnet entry.)

(Edit as this isn't worth me tacking another post of my own right on the end of the thread)

Unfortunately I didn't jot down exactly what time yesterday I took my starting numbers at the Oracle but I've seen a change of about 22,861 tons delivered in what may be about 24 hours which leaves us with only 428 days until The Oracle is up and running at the current pace!

I was happily doing stuff for one of the stations, but eventually stopped as I had no idea of any progression on each of the various commodities. It was a bit like peeing into a sink hole, wondering if it was filling up or if there was a drain at the bottom. Just no encouragemnet to continue.

Where are these repair update figures to be found?

No one care? Are you saw the total amount of cargo needed? And not every one concentrates on a single station... Just do a little math, the 2,2% on itself already a huge amount of cargo delivered... but hey, all time complainers here it comes... i read too much this forum nowadays...

There is gonna be 24 station in repair in total. Have fun.
