Stations in Lockdown should not allow docking computers

When a controlling faction goes into Lockdown, many station services are disabled. Auto-docking should be one of the services that is disabled.

I'm not anti-docking computers. I like using them. But there should be places where you can't.

Some station controllers say "use of docking computer permitted", so the opposite would need to be included.

Are we back to player sadism? This has to be one of the worst suggestions I've seen in months. And while I don't use the bloody thing, I can tell you there are Commanders that can't do what I do without it.

Especially when you consider that bloody computer can still fail all on its own regardless of whether it's being used on a lockdown system or not. Sure it's rarer now than a year ago, but that issues is still there.

I'm with @coca_fr, this is a system that seems to be self-managed and not something that would lock into ATC control.

Read the list of services provided by a station, any station.

Just done a couple of runs into a 'Goid damaged station. DC doesn't work there, plus there's the added risk of massive heat buildup inside the station. This is even better than what I had in mind with lockdown stations.

Still not a reason to do this for lockdown, but I'm satisfied that the mechanic exists.

You have a good point. But there should then be some way of snaking into the station, with a risk attached of course.

Actually maybe the complete opposite of the Op suggestion would be more realistic; the system is under threat so who knows what the agenda might be of a manually-docking ship?
