One thing that I keep wishing I would see when plopping down a new coaster station is a directional arrow showing the direction the station is pointing. In other words, the arrow points to where you would start building your coaster. Until I get used to it, I'm always putting down the station backwards. A simple arrow pointing to the natural path of the new coaster build would be WONDERFUL when first putting in your station.

Yes, that would be very helpful. But there is a small indicator: one end of the track has a small white sphere (the ones you see when raising objects), and the other end doesn't. The one with the sphere is the direction the track goes. Also, if you hover over the station button, you'll see a tooltip that indicates the side of the entrance (left or right), meaning that the wide part of the station is either on the left or right side, allowing you to get the direction. This is what I use to guess the direction, and I haven't been wrong yet.
