Steam VR mode

It would be great if the devs allow us to play this in Steam VR mode. I'm not sure if there is a check box that will allow this (on their end) or if it's even possible since the launcher is in use.


For anyone that doesn't know what I'm talking about. If you have a OC, then try other VR games. A free one is

but a majority of us dont use steam for ED...

priority prob not, eventually for consumer release id say for sure.

realistically its not necessary, id prefer launching my games from my monitor. I dont need any steamVR gimmicky things.

So you don't use the overview and you like having 1 eye shut, and doing some odd tricks to see the browser?

From what's been said by other devs. All they have to do is select a check box on steam side.

How is Steam VR a gimmick? Do you even know what it does? Why would you not want steam VR? People...

Since ED have an external launcher, I don't know, it might complicate things? Like when you start ED from Steam Big Picture, it kind of alt-tab your whole Big Picture and then still have to use their annoying launcher, start the game then you're back in Big Picture. If only they could get ride of that damn launcher...we should just be able to link our steam account, click play and bam you're in game.
