Stellar Real Estate - 600+ Earthlikes, Neutron Stars, Black Holes and Other Rares Ready to Colonize RIGHT off the Highway

Welcome to Stellar Real Estate Inc!

Slaps top of brochure

You will be surprised by how many unique systems directly off the highway, claimable NOW, can fit within this brochure right here!

Features include:

  • Unique systems, and why, directly off the highway - neutrons, black holes, elw's, and even ringed buildable planets with maxed out atmospheres
  • A scoring system based on rarity and value
  • Ground slots for each system - detected and calculated by the app
  • An orrery that, in my biased opinion is better than Frontiers
  • System map view with markers for groundslots and everything in between
  • A galaxy map view that shows where along the highway the system is
  • A possible economy breakdown and an AI analysis using Dubior's guide from the Mercs of Mikunn

Use the table to sort!

Updates:

  • This project has been added to the Mikunn'iverse website.
  • Recording one of these systems as colonized using EDMC similar across EDDN will slap a big dorky sold sign across the listing during the next data dump.

This tool is outstanding massive O7 to you and the team that made it!!

Is there any chance whatever you use to assess the systems could be a tool in it's own right? The way that it describes what the system is ideal for, the potential markets etc... really impressive stuff!!

Thanks for sharing with the wider community

Dude this tool is amazing! Would it be possible to make a version that takes known system data and do the same thing not for colonization system markets but for just general exploration? I think something of the sort could help better visualize how compact and dense or undense certain regions of space are with particular astronomical bodys and objects are within those regions. Because I've found an area above the galactic plane that has the most amount of earth like worlds ive ever seen while exploring all within a 50 ly range it would be cool to compare that density with other regions.

I took Cmdr Dubior's colonization guide and essentially made it a skill in Claude and had it comment on each system. Dubior is a member of the Mercs and I discussed it with him. Having a tool like this would require either a preloaded commentary for every possible system, or a connection with something running an AI in the background for everyone using it. You could preset certain things it would calculate without AI, but as you see in the app above it finds things you wouldn't expect and would be hard to predict.

Lets just say I blew out my weekly token quota doing this and a large part of it was the commentary and analysis. Additionally, I checked each of the systems by hand and removed about 10% that were already claimed.

It would be expensive, but the benefit is that it actively looks for anything that could possibly apply to Dubior's Colonization Guide. The good news is that I can expand the scope a little each week because I will never need to run an analysis on the same system again unless the colonization rules change.

Thank you! I'm wondering if it's possible to add the rating feature to other systems, including already colonized ones?

Again, this is amazing work. How you set it up would be a fascinating YouTube video- which Frontier devs could benefit from.

You mean like a leaderboard?

I can already tell you that the person who grabbed the triple elw plus 5 waterworld system near hen 2-333 would lead that scoreboard. :)

It would make a good "interesting colonized systems to visit list.

I agree, it's a great system. But the "unicorn of unicorns" is currently located elsewhere. It's Pueloi YE-R e4-27. This system contains 1 neutron star, 2 ELW, and 2 WW. A total of six systems containing a neutron star and an ELW have been colonized to date, according to Spanch.co.uk. This system is the best of them. However, it requires the construction of a fairly large bridge, approximately 200 ly away from an existing bridge from another project.

I forgot to respond to you.

There is a site that already does this and I used its output for my tables.

I think he means the pretty galaxy map with the sector cubes and the system maps with the detailed listings on the left side and system layout on the right, and especially the orrery.
There's no site that comes even remotely close to such graphical detail.

There's one problem here: the bridges from colonized systems are already very large. I sometimes fly along one of them, and even at distances of up to 15 light-years, I very rarely encounter a previously visited system. I'm usually the first to discover everything there. In other words, at such distances, he won't see even a tiny fraction of the systems he's interested in.

It would be useful as a general purpose map for already explored systems near the bubble too, its much better than what the game itself provides.

It definitely would be possible if it's just the system map, and orrery. The AI analysis across hundreds of millions of explored systems would be expensive.

Even that's possible, but not by me. :)

So I tried it out with the exact same parameters on the next nebula.

We are far enough out now that on approach you can literally see the paths of individual commanders that were logging as they went when they set route to economic.

In other words, I think I can use the density of the economic jumps to predict regions that have been entirely unexplored, but that also means the data in the following regions will be far less comprehensive unless we send out a bunch of explorers in advance.

I can't spare people off the highway but maybe it's worth recruiting people interested in exploring.

Aside from exploring and looking up new colonization candidates... I think the system map with orrery alone would be a really nice tool to have to look up your own colonized systems. Especially with a past/future time slider. Maybe add our built stations to it or perhaps it's better to connect it to RavenColonial instead for that. Ideally have the orrery added on there if that kind of collaboration is possible.

I love how it shows the rings too... I have two systems with moons extremely close to the rings of their parent gas giant, with outposts that go through the rings every day. I've been wondering if it's possible to calculate and show when that occurs in a similar way this orrery is already doing. I guess the stations don't show their orbital stats like planetary bodies do though so that's a problem.

In any case the website looks great, nice way to offer colonization candidates.

Might be nice to give a FAQ for newer players in the game dipping their toe in colonisation what is needed to get the most out of this great initiative and how they would go about claiming/ building out a system

Just stunning insight and work. Can I determine the location that my first Dodec will be dropped? I’ll look again.
