Stop Expiring Tickets on your issue tracker!!!!

Again stop expiring tickets on your issue tracker it is complete nonsense my reported issues have not even been looked at, what kinda support is this from a professional company ???

where is our support for products we paid for ???

open those issues back up

I'm also reporting this back to Xbox and PlayStation so they can extend their refund policy time frame which was set until the end of may and they told me to report back if issues are not fixed or looked at so I am reporting this back to them. Complete nonsense this. Open them again until they are looked at and fixed!!!

“ If a certain number of players have been able to reproduce an issue within 30 days, the issue will become “Confirmed” – if the required number of reproductions is not met in this time, the report will expire.”

In both reports you claim "60 others" have experienced the same issue in your Discord or whatever. If you got those 60 people to actually contribute to the reports in question, on their own accounts, then the issues would become confirmed. As it stands they are expiring because it's pretty much just you and two others reporting the issue. Just saying "60 others" is pointless if nobody else is actually going to the effort to contribute to the issue.

Exactly this.
“ If a certain number of players have been able to reproduce an issue within 30 days, the issue will become “Confirmed” – if the required number of reproductions is not met in this time, the report will expire.”
If no one else reports the issue then it could just be your game and I would contact Tech Support instead.

Just come on here and say "If anyone else is having this problem please add to my Issues Tracker Report" and post the link. You don't list the problem you're having so it's hard to help.

In both issues the problem is exactly reported so no idea how you come to the conclusion that I didnt list te problem as you can see on both the ticket issues it says exacly how it happens. Also hardly anyone uses the issue tracker because as said on the discord nothing is ever looked at or done with it so people have lost faith in the issue trackers or in the support in general that is why you see so little bugs reported anymore in comparison to a couple years ago when there was better communication from frontier.

I understand it is frustrating, but Heather gave sound advice. I had the problem with guests getting stuck on gridded path in the past as well. Submitted it to the issue tracker, but didn't get it confirmed, until I posted it here on the Forums. Then people started adding to my issue tracker and getting the problem noticed and even fixed at some point. You have to mobilize the community to first get the problem confirmed and then to have it up-voted as a major issue so it gets attention from the devs. Being angry and frustrated that nothing happens when nobody supports your report isn't going to help.

Ever heard the phrase: you catch more bees with honey than vinegar?

I used to have issues with guests getting stuck on pathing - I stopped grid pathing thinking that was the issue, but if it was, it wasn't the only cause.

Last year ( I think ) I spotted guests getting stuck. On regular pathing. So watched them for a while to see if I could see anything in the area causing it. I noticed there were 2 bins near each other, and both were near the guests. So, I removed one of the bins. The guests stopped pacing back and forth and picked a bin to put their rubbish in.

When it happened again, the bins were the first place I looked but no joy. However, there were 2 donation bins. So, removed one et voila, problem solved.
Now I place bins at least 3 bench lengths apart and position the donation bins so that they don't dither while deciding which one to use.

It could be a coincidence but since then I haven't hit any issues. .

Also to add that just because an issue is 'expired' doesn't mean they won't look at it. It is just a way for them to prioritise the newest issues impacting the most people. Frontier staff have confirmed in the past that an issue expiring doesn't mean it isn't on their list of bugs. Personally I think the language on the issue tracker is unfortunate as it causes confusion but they have not seen fit to change it!

To go along with this .. another game I play, has a support system where closing it at the support side doesn't mean it is closed, just that the support team doesn't need to know about it now. It gets moved onto the dev team and comes off of the support team. Maybe something similar in this case.
