Story Mode in ED

Hey all

I was browsing the store and I found Discount for a book called ELITE LEGACY, in first I thought it was guide book or art book, but when I read the description I found it's a novel book, I got curious about all other books and I found there's about 10 Novel Books, and this what make me wonder why there's no story mode?

I mean from the description I read the game have good stories and it'll be great if we live them in the game.

my question, is there any plan for story mode in the future?

I would not expect a story mode - just as the original game in 1984 did not have one - it's up to the player to create their own story - except this time they can do that with other players if they choose....

The original 1984 Elite came with a book called 'The Dark Wheel' but there was no in game story. I think ED is taking the same approach.

I plan to buy Elite legacy too It certainly can be a nice addition to the BGS or a complete storymode in the future
From a 10 years plan we can imagine some possible directions to look into.
