It would be kind of neat to be able to use your camera suite and dismiss your ship (kind of like an SRV) that way I am not taking up a landing pad. ... This would help me out a lot at least by taking up one less pad while live streaming Hutton.
I don't think you were "ganked." I think some other CMDR probably wanted your parking spot.So far I have only been ganked 2 or 3 times but honselty doesnt bother me
Ah, I honestly didnt even think of running out of fuel. thas probably what happened actually. If he were parked, he couldn't be destroyed, yet if he were just idling in space, he'd destruct as his fuel ran out.
So...um...you're taking up one of the three parking spots out there? And just, well, sitting there?

Cheeky idea and all, but a bit of a crap move to just be hogging 1/3 of the real estate at a high value POI.

If you're docked, you can't be destroyed? I always thought you were vulnerable and thus the hangar provided protection. No?
I'm really glad people get something out of this. good for them.
That said, this seems like possibly the most boring video game stream I could ever envisage.
To each their own!
Nope. as soon as your registered as landed, you become 100% invincible.
Silly aint it?
Oh, that is nuts. And all those times on all those outposts when I entered the hangar before going afk, you know, to be safe.
Oy vey...
Agreed. Actually, while watching the ships come and go, I noticed something for the first time: When a platform descends, there's a puff of atmosphere released, which drifts off into space. This sort of attention to detail is one of the things I really like about ED.Love it - strangely therapeutic, a bit like watching a fish tank....
