Stupid games.

If you cant produce a game - a game that solely relies on mechanics in a pre designed universe. Then just get out. You can't do your job. I often wondered if NMS could pull it off, and you know what? They did a bloody brillant job.
And a far more impressive job that you lot did. You could have asked Universities to fill in the details. Yet you didn't do a thing. You had the opportunity to expand this game to challenge physics.

You had the opportunity to really let people know about what surrounds us. You could have had a gold mine. <snip - unnecessary>

The question will remain the same. How did so few people manage to make a total embarrassment of your RNG skills?

Can you imagine an astronomer using FD as his main tool? Nope. But he can get exited about the rough realizations. And that is why FD cannot fail. It started as a game, but yet is one of the main visionary tools to explore our locality. Please go ahead and PUNCH this game so it becomes a reality. Please.

People that express an opinion, ya mean?

Shocking isn't it.

I am sure that we can all take it on the chin.

I'd say it's fair enough.

I like the part where he calls them idiots. I know that kind of thing certainly always motivates me to do a better job at something to fit someone else's expectations.
I know, right? I particularly like the "Please" at the end, after calling them "idiots". Inspirational.

Now I think about it, I wonder how it feels to be told the makers of another title, people who it's accepted flat out lied to the public journalists and the industry for months before release and were uncontactable for months after release, are doing a more impressive job than you? That's some constructive criticism right there.

It was pretty shocking actually.

Yeah most people are bad at RNG, it the probability that gets in the way :) Computers on the other hand are really really bad at RNG.

Guess he doesn't feel special and superior to everyone else about Formidine anymore.
So just blame and insult FD, like above apt #11 pic ^ , lol.

Just checked my steam account.

ED 975 hours since purchase
NMS 17.5 hours since purchase (10 of those were since the latest update).

I wonder which game I enjoy more?

I don't see much that EDH can learn from what is now Minecraft in space.

I think you overreacting OP but I do agree NMS did a decent job, one that FD could take a closer look at and implement few bells and whistles in to their next updates since the last news just left me with giant MEH on my face. [haha]

You call FDev "idiots" and then say "please".

Edit: Added to my bookmarked folder: Comment Fails.

These will all be useful for 'Humble Pie' thread that's scheduled for Q4. ;)
