Stupidid thing you've done....

Right....

I've just spend almost an hour checking my keybindings, my activated modals, and the I verified my download ALL TO NO AVALAL...

This was because I couldn't activate my probes to fully scan a pitiful bloody moon....

Ok, then I pushed the button that changed my fire group because I'm in DEEEEEP space and why would I change my fire group unless FDEVS had specifically screwed up to mess with me, personally, because that's what they do don't they.

Yeah...well they didn't.

I had accidentally changed my fire group to the group that scan Xenos but because I had deactivated all those modals because in DEEEEP space because you don't need them why should I consider that one single button worth my time.....

:censored:

My question to you, my CMNDS in arms is ....

When was the last time you went mental demanding change without realizing you were a total <nope> and had to eat a potion of humble pie, even if in secret.

I once pointed my ship's nose straight away from a planet and floored it... before I remembered that my engines were in reverse.

Back when Beyond hit, I thought I had all my keybindings set. I had just entered the station and was using a DC for the first time on my T9 and decided to try the free camera mode to see what the ship looked like docking from the camera. I have a HOTAS, but keybinds on my keyboard as well are set. Instead of hitting the camera mode I accidently hit the fire button on my keyboard and for some dumb reason had the "deploy hardpoints" when firing set. Yep, launched a round in the station. Hello, rebuy screen.

Tried to troll my girlfriend by flying under her and boosting past her canopy (she was taking off from the guardian site) But she happened to tilt her nose down as I went under, which smashed me into the floor a couple of times and sent me to rebuy. (Totally worth it, would rebuy again.)

Lost a Python full of guardian cargo I was holding onto. Was planning to offload it as soon as the cg started. Then the next day, FD nerf the drop rate to zero. Rip.

Back when you could boost with landing gear deployed had lots of space station related accidents after picking up large cargo hauls :D

Tried ED in a windowed mode. Jumped to a new star whilst looking at information site on second screen. Star appeared. Stick not responding, keyboard not responding, T9 turning to a puddle, window not focused. Rebuy. Renamed to Hot Pb.

Well, my trip to Colonia back in the day was a double disaster.

I took my explorer to Robigo and switched to my resident passenger liner to do the missions. After doing a few I got bored and noticed a passenger mission to Colonia paying the max amount and since I was due for an exploration trip I switched back to the Conda and took the mission. I got to colonia and went to the POI and thought I should go check out the engineers while I was there and got scanned on the way in to the station. By that time I had forgotten that my passenger was a little sensitive to scanning and he promptly ejected.Oh well, no big loss, I had wanted to visit Colonia anyway, so I went ahead and did some engineering stiff and went back to the bubble again.

Normally I sell off my exploration data, but this time I wanted to use it to open op the restricted systems, so I only sold off bits here and there.

Now, while I was off for colonia doing some engineering research and read something about those new thrusters that sounded really fun, right? Naturally I went there and got one, which I then promptly crashed right in to the next orbital I found being a little surpised how fast it was.

I actually didn't realise until a bit later that I was missing a lot of exploration data suddenly.

Really great trip :)

I have since gone on other trips to open the permit systems, so no problem there

I almost sent a support ticket to FDEV when I found I could not deploy my SRV after landing on a planet.

...I had powered down the SRV hangar for travel as I do with all extraneous modules... ;)

Boosting in the station instead of dropping my landing gear properly got me a rebuy once or twice. (Xbox)

When doing a mission once I hit launch and then opened my galaxy map to see where I was going, then got distracted by a post I was reading here, tuned back in a few minutes later just in time to see my ship getting blown up by the station.

With my Type 7 I took three very profitable cargo missions that could made me win 18,000,000 cr in less than 15 minutes. I flew to the three destinations only to discover that there were three outposts. No large landing pads.
I ended up selling the "stolen cargo" in black markets, losing benefits, reputation with my allied factions, a lot of time and self respect.
