Your Feature Request / Idea
It seems that currently when an alpha dies, the next alpha is chosen immediately. What I'd love is if the dinosaurs would sometimes scrap for dominance. They'd fight, sometimes to the death but usually not, and a victory would earn them prestige whether or not the opponent died. That way the next alpha's selection would be inspired by past establishments of dominance.
Likewise, if the two top contenders are pretty close in rank, I'd like it if sometimes they'd fight off and on until one of them pulled ahead pretty clearly. The pack would be without an alpha in the meantime, but the new alpha would have earned her spot.
