General Suggestion: Please add UY Scuti and update the recently (re)discovered systems near us

It would however require rewriting the entire galaxy unless there's already a system with appropriate mass in the correct location, so that's unlikely to happen.

I took this forum to up the suggestion for it's the only one with a tag.

The issue (nowadays you can call it so) has been raised since 2014. I'm afraid that, considering the speed of Frontier devs to keep the game a little pair with reality, it will come the day where the game mechanics or its map become obsolete.

There is a lot of recent news on new discoveries on Black Holes, quantum physics, Newtonian mechanics. There is a lot of news on the largest stars and black holes.

It can be frustrating when one found a game that brags it maps the entire Milky Way is lacking the largest known star in the universe. It's like when you can't see the pyramids on the G Earth.

While the Space Engine isn't a game, so it doesn't use the mind-blogging calculations that Powerplay and Markets demands and it is target to be true to reality, it includes UY Scuti and NML Cygni.

Please, at least tell us you will consider it.

Quote from the 2014 post:
UY Scuti = 1,708 Solar Radii
NML Cygni = 1,650 Solar Radii
VX Sagittarii = 1,520 Solar Radii
VY Canis Majoris = 1,420 Solar Radii - In the game
Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis)= 1,075 Solar Radii - In the game
Rigel (Beta Orionis) = I dunno, 950 Solar Radii? - In the game
