Supercruise Assistant not engaging

It won't take you to the planet surface, they (Adam) said in the livestream you need to manually fly to the ground. If you have it on and target a surface base it will only take you to the planet and into orbit.

edit - which is correct, as it's not an autopilot.
Well, I didn't expect it to land, auto dock does that, but I kind of expected it to navigate around to the backside of the planet where the base was I had locked onto. But hey ho, no tears here, I sold it and am unlikely to buy another.☺

OK, then maybe I am missing something here? If I recall, the throttle to zero is optional but I left it on, so why would it behave differently across USS/station nav and system jumps? I bought the module as I thought it would make life easier, but I still have to give it my full attention, unlike auto dock, I can't go and put the kettle on with SCA in charge.

Thistle has explained the planetary part to you, with the Hyperspace Dethrottle, do you use an analogue controller like a HOTAS? If you are using a HOTAS and have the throttle set to anything above 0 then that overrides the Hyperspace Dethrottle. https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/876

I am on PS4 using standard PS controller. When I jump into a system I have to throttle up to engage FSD, and when I drop into the target sys it throttles me down to zero, as expected. When I SCA to a USS or station, I have to put throttle in blue zone to engage SCA, and when it drops me out of SC it leaves throttle in blue zone, not as expected.

Oh Ok. The only thing I can really say to that I'm afraid is that it is called 'Hyperspace Dethrottle', so there isn't really anything there to suggest it would do anything in other situations. Sorry.
