The discount does reduce the rebuy cost of each item forever though - as the rebuy cost is based on the purchase price.
Wish we can somehow mark those discounted items, so we don't sell them by mistake.
Easy to forget in time (not that low size modules are so expensive to really notice).
Iirc recently we were re-buying Corvettes and Cutters.

Additionally players always forget to talk about the transfer fees.
Though to be fair, transfer fees are almost negligible, if I understand correctly.
But are based on cost and distance for both modules and ships so can mount up.
Yeah, but when you have to re-engineer the whole ship (or ships) again, then IMO the credits (being entirely fungible and earnable in any number of ways) aren't the show-stopper.
It is a substantial help to new players though.
