Support the NMLA

With the news that NMLA is striking against the Empire an opportunity opens up for those who wish to strike against it. As we speak, rescue ships are being deployed to help those stations in a misguided attempt to put everything as it was.

This must not be allowed to happen.

Should they succeed, this will be a beacon of hope and cooperation that will serve to strengthen the Empire. Members of the Pilot's Federation will feel this is the right thing to do without seeing the bigger picture of what the collapse of the Empire will mean for freedom throughout the galaxy. If we are to truly help humanity, we must support those wrongly to be deemed terrorists and help them in their mission.

How do we do this? It is simple. The Pilot's Federation rescue ships which would become the symbol of hope for the Imperials must be destroyed. Whilst this will result in a great many innocent deaths, the greater purpose of showing that the Empire is not capable of looking after it's own citizens will be a powerful message and give real hope to those who value true freedom.

Play your part in supporting a truly free galaxy. Stop those who would support the Empire in a time of much needed revolution.

Terrorist, Die!
With the presence of a significant Imperial force in the Colonia region and the wars and conflict they have brought which has terrorised our local populace, we would ask those who sympathise with our plight to return the favour to our attackers. The NMLA suggest a return to the values of the original Republic that was founded in Achenar which we hope would provide a more tolerant society.

There was a time when you valued change.

I wouldn't say that bombing stations is the right way to go about this.
Given that the last challenger to try and affect change within the Empire was gunned down while in chains on the senate floor, I doubt any peaceful methods are going to work here. This is a society where senators are above the law as long as the Emperor takes no personal issues with what they do.

A group looking to create any change will have to resort to desperate measures and stay out of direct conflict or they'll end up in exactly the same way as Imperator Mordanticus.

We respond to the use of force against us in kind - with force.

This so-called anti-anarchist alliance came to a peaceful system in Colonia and began wreaking havoc and terror, forcing good people from their homes and slaughtering innocent people making their way on the frontier.

Are you so surprised when violence is met with greater violence? We sued for peace at the end of the first war and were outright ignored.

You reap what you sow.

You do have a point, but I have my doubts about how much support this will get. Nova was a legitimate political movement, and repeating the actions taken against them might be too politically risky now. But NMLA can be labelled as terrorists with no problems at all, and it'd be easy to justify. We'll have to see how the story develops.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else. I flew out to Colonia to fight for you guys.

It does rather depend on whether the mistakes from last time are repeated. However futile it may be, the original idea of Marlin Duval's peaceful Republican ideals would be worth fighting for and having current Imperial aggressive and expansionist ideals either changed or disowned would make the galaxy a better place. With violence and death of innocents on all sides, peaceful coexistence would be welcome.
