It will be a draw anyway - because tiers. Still - the event's been planned as pathetic one sided thing, it's nice that it didn't discourage community from doing what's right.

Baseless and biased comment.
The CG has been one of the most balanced and engaging ones to date, and in the end only the decision to support one side for moral reasons decided the victor.

And the winner is clear because it is based on proportion, not just tier.

It was so balanced that allegedly loosing side will get 4x higher rewards than winning one. So balanced, that one side could do it with the sidewinder, when the other required a lot of cargo racks. So balanced that one side had to drop goods 43 times further from the star than the other.

It was as balanced as running competition, where one guy has to run 1km, but the other has to run marathon - with broken legs on top of that. Because "balance". Yeah, right.

Looking forward to seeing your ideas on balance then. Three days before the winner pulled away is going pretty well in comparison to most 🤷‍♀️

Edit: If people want to see unbalanced ... tune in about 2 hours from now :)

That shows that they were better. And it is just and proper - better side should win. But if somebody breaks legs of one comptetitor - don't call it balance, just because he was still able to win. It is not balance - it is just failure of biased setup.

one way of looking at it

another way would be that if FDev has been looking at this forum and the responses/support the scriveners have been getting then they knew that the community would be on this side, so rather than have another unbalanced CG they balanced the CG/Goals/Rewards to make it a much closer (if not one of the closest) CG's we've had.

Balancing in CG's is not about making the numbers equal, its about getting the actual competing CG's close
