I did address it, there is NO argument, the actions to be punished are stated, the people complaining are being dishonest in saying this means no more PvP as that is not what is being punished, they know this. The leader of the Diamond Frogs, PvP group, says it himself, this has nothing to do with PvP, his group and what they do aren't impacted at all. None of the actual PvP groups will be impacted by this at all, only griefers are impacted.


So, who exactly is complaining about this? Look at the names, look at the groups they belong to, their own personal history(youtube, these forums, reddit), you will see exactly what I said is true. The people who did the very actions FD stated will no longer be tolerated are the ones complaining.

One question what does SDC stand for?
I've done a search on these forums. which was no use
I googled it and I found a lot of references some were, Security Door Controls, Society of Colourists and Dyers and Selby District Council.
I hope council members are not playing elite when they should be working, or I know taxpayers will start asking questions.

Certain players in open are only there to destroy the game and when that gets to hard to achive they move on to the next game to destroy. These are to be dealt with BEFORE they can do any serious harm to an otherwise healthy (altho sometimes bugged) game.

Certain players combat log by pulling the plug when they are pulled into an RP situation. Sound familiar? They should be banned long before people are banned for their play style.

How can you prove they pulled the plug? Do you have remote registry and event log access on their machine or something?

Yes, combat loggers are breaking the rules and should be punished. And they might be actually punished, you do not know this.
But griefers are also breaking the rules and should be punished.


So yeah, two wrongs do not make a right. And your statement does not change anything, if anything it only reinforces what was written by Loetmichel.

Guess what? They failed to get it right and Bad Things happened. And now we have Frontier representatives having to post ridiculous mealy-mouthed "clarifications" backed up by unenforceable threats of non-specific actions. What a sad, sad day for this franchise.

You're reaping what you've sown, Frontier. Best of luck sorting it out. In the meantime...

Without trying to go too far off topic, I am certain the statements from FDev were that they would build up data against "habitual" Cloggers. So one Alt+F4 does not a summer make.

Anyway, now back to our scheduled programming ;)

Why...would anyone admit to being punished? even if you've seen him in game afterwards, it depends on how long it takes for them to react you don't know how many tickets they have.

And that's my point, you can't know what frontier has or has not done, maybe they have a strike method of doing it? again, point is, you do not know.

How can you prove my actions are malicious if all I did was killing someone.

Both debates will never end, this is why this game and the rules around it are ridiculous.

on a side note I just re-subscribed to EVE.

a little more than one incursion, also making threats to continue attacking a private group is harassment. then we have all those reddit posts from your group that could be seen as offensive and bullying.
