Chance....this isnt about you and your group killing cmdrs in this game....I think its about you and your group trying to bully FD.
There is no reason you can not find things to do ingame that fits your playing style...but these moves by your group is a flagerant "in your face" move against the game maker and its community.
Even now, after all this discussion, you and your group are still arguing the matter...when there is nothing left to discuss.
The FD gods have spoken....obey or be vanquished.
And what does that suggest?
This again?....is that the only thing you can bring up, one piece of evidence against several pieces of evidence including the words of those who own the game and decide what you can and can't do?
totally disregarding the enormous amount of possibilities you've been told you 'can' do in the game, and clinging to the one thing that is not allowed?
I am quite confused how you think that your words are 'right' when there's overwhelming numerous evidence that they are not, and that you are in the wrong, and desperately waving a flag of "I was told I could do this!", because nope..you were not.

Thank you for proving my point. You guys can white knight and hide behind Frontier's skirts with the made up "harassment" excuse but it all boils down to the strict anti-pvp views that so many of you have. You guys despise us for no other reason than that we enjoy killing others and you'll find any excuse to try and stop that from happening.

'does things within the rules' - that would seem to be a statement that is untrue, when it comes to what frontier has defined as rules.
'that carebears no likey' - addon insult? that is seemingly here for no reason as it is not actual PvP that is a problem for the vast majority of all posts involved on this subject.
"The entire ED community is primarily pve and they get mad" - weird statement, as you do not know the entire community and forum doesn't even represent a fraction of buyers, add that actual pvp happens just fine and has little to do with this thread subject?

They are making it clear, because apparently there are people that do not undestand the rules, and yes frontier saw people upset at this, so they give a clarification, a warning to those that break said rules, because it is getting out of hand, and they really don't want to play parent?

Hi Chance, at the end of the day, there's probably quite a few people like myself who don't really care if you kill pvp, it kinda makes the risk of open more enjoyable for some and yes, it's even in the spirit of what is advertised.
But really, I don't know how you can defend the gloating and posting? If it is that you are enjoying killing cmdrs, yeah fine, why don't you just do it? It's only by gloating on utube etc that a) winds people up, b) forces FDs hand and c) goes against what you claim which is that you simply like killing cmdrs. Do you want to kill pvp? or gloat? I'm not judging you Chance, but I don't understand why you simply don't continue to do what you want, but don't advertise it?

The only thing you're continuing to prove is that there is no actual good faith misunderstanding behind your refusal to acknowledge the plain meaning of Zac's words and insistence on conflating the PvP community as a whole with the tiny minority of griefers described by Zac. The bright-line distinction between prohibited harassment and Open PvP has been described in such excruciating detail from so many angles by so many different people that by this point I can't see this comprehension failure as anything other than willful and put-on. There are plenty of well-known, dedicated PvPers here and in the Reddit thread who aren't having the same trouble figuring out where the line between PvP and harassment is, and nobody is fooled by this manufactured outrage.
Here's the thing you don't seem to get: all that Zac is really saying here is that if you go out of your way to be a jackhole and ruin people's fun, there are going to be consequences. It's as simple as that.
When you find yourself in the position of arguing that you should actually be allowed to act that way towards other human beings, that's a pretty huge red flag that you might just be on the wrong side of the issue.

It's not about that at all. The issue is the way they are trying to go about this and banning people for the videos they post? We're all talking in circles at this point and people are just insulting each other so I'm going to go ahead and exit the thread for now. I hope you truly don't believe that I'm arguing for the sake of arguing, I'm only arguing because I feel that certain people are being wronged here.
Well, then you can rest easy, because the only people who are actually described by Zac's words and this policy stance are people who get their enjoyment of the game from acting like bullies and thrive on the upset reactions they get. This position is a clear message to the tiny, tiny minority of PvPers who insist on acting this way: this might not be the right game for you.
If you're not engaging in that kind of behavior, then no video you post is going to run afoul of this rule, so good for you: you're in the clear! What a fuss over nothing.
